(Nick Bishop, Kellen Barton and Jody Whelan write for Titan Sized, which is FSB's Tennessee Titans blog. Representing the rest of the AFC South are Black & Teal, Naptown's Finest and Toro Times) Week 11 saw two divisional match-ups in the AFC South, both of which seemed to pretty clearly show the trajectory of the division for the remainder of the season. The two victors are poised to play in the postseason, while the losers are pretty much on the outside trying to look into a building without windows. The undefeated Titans have had control of the division for over a month now, and are now inching closer to home-field advantage throughout the conference playoffs (at this point a first round bye is almost guaranteed). The Colts win, coupled with a pretty favorable remaining schedule, makes them totally in control of their own destiny; a destiny that should involve the playoffs. The good news for the Texans and the Jaguars? Most of you will still be in the NFL next year...

We here at Titan Sized are big fans of CNNSI's Peter King and his weekly column "Monday Morning Quarterback" in which he shares his random thoughts and musing on the previous day's games. In this week's MMQB, Peter handed out a few game balls of his own, with two of them going to Titan WR Justin Gage and backup CB Chris Carr. Well, since those were gonna be our two picks for "Titan Up" game balls, we just thought we would share what Mr. King had to say about the two. After all, he is the professional. There are a couple of other nice things about the 10-0 Titans, so I highly suggest reading the whole thing. So, in lieu and without further ado...

In preparation for the divisional contest between the Titans (yeah!) and the Jaguars (boo!), our good buddy Jeanne over at Black & Teal, was kind enough to answer some of our questions concerning the state of her beloved Jags team, their fading playoff hopes and their fearless, poorly-dressed head coach. Sorry Jeanne...

Sunday marks the first time this season the Titans have a repeat opponent. Our heroes must do battle with Jack Del Rio (with his career 1-2 postseason record) and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville has a 1-3 home record this year, the lone victory coming over the Houston Texans in overtime. Needless to say, this has been a disappointing season for the Jags, who many pundits predicted would make a deep playoff run. A team that traditionally prides itself on superior defense and a strong running game has been decidedly middle-of-the-pack in both categories (ranked 16th and 14th respectively). So with the season slipping away, and "chopping the wood" no longer sufficing, Del Rio has come up with a new gimmick: throwing his players under the bus. Team captain and leading tackler, Mike Peterson, has been demoted for insubordination, which is apparently a worse offense then losing back-to-back games against the Browns and Bengals. Anyway... speaking of axes, coach Del Rio certainly is a tool...

The Titans' strong (understatement) start to the 2008 season has brought up a number of questions: How do I get playoff tickets? When does the second week of the playoffs start? Can you wear a t-shirt in February at Raymond James Stadium? That's all fine and good, but another question is: Who is the face of the Tennessee Titans?

Offensive: Kerry Michael CollinsFinally, the old guy gets the recognition he deserves. He has been the glue that has held this team together all year. With his leadership. With his experience. With his calm demeanor. And, on Sunday, with his arm. On the day, Collins finished 30-41 for 289 yards, with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. His performance was not only the best on the field for either team (ok, so admittedly the guy on the other side was "Train" Rex Grossman), he had one of the best days of any QB in the league on Sunday (2nd in completions, 4th in attempts, 5th in yards, tied for 2nd in TD's and 5th amongst starters in QB rating). Sure, we thought he would have a decent afternoon, and that the Titans would have a tough time running the ball, but we didn't know Collins would be that good or think the Bears would make the Titans ground attack that irrelevant. For all of those doubters out there that thought that this was a one-dimensional team, Sunday was just a taste of how dangerous the Titans can be. Side note: Did you see that huge gash on Collins' nose? Wanna know how it happened? No, it wasn't a bar fight you jackasses. Kerry Collins got buck, that's how... Honorable Mention(s): Bo Scaife, Justin Gage and Brandon Jones The two recipients of Collins' TD passes were his two most reliable receivers. Scaife has been an absolute treat all year, and yet again was the QB's most reliable target on Sunday (10 catches for 78 yards). Gage, who has had a bit of the "banana hands" this season, put together his first nice outing (4 catches for 47 yards) since the week four game in which he got hurt. It "just" so happens that he decided to come up big against his former team. Thanks Justin, we sure needed it. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention 4-year WR Brandon Jones who has been quietly efficient this year. The Titans were expecting him to really blossom last season, but injuries forced him to miss all or most of nine games. He was actually the Titans leading receiver in this one (8 catches for 82 yards), and really bailed Kerry Collins out a few times. I believe that I heard the stat on the radio today (I know, real professional right?) that he has caught a pass in the last 13 quarters of play. That's not gonna blow anyone away, but it's that type of consistency from all of the Titans' players from top to bottom that has this team where it is now. Defensive: Keith BulluckThis was a fairly tame outing for the Tennessee's fifth ranked defense, but Bulluck was one of few guys that really stood out. On the day, Bulluck led the team in tackles with 10 (9 solo) and made them all over the field. What made the performance all the more impressive was the fact that Bulluck was limited all week with a rib/chest injury and was considered "questionable" for the game. He remained the team's leading tackler on the year, but it's the example that he is setting that has really changed the environment here: "I was on the sideline telling him all game how much I appreciated that," tight end Bo Scaife said. "For a young guy seeing that, and seeing the things that (former Titans quarterback Steve McNair) went through and how all the guys on our team play through tough injuries is a lot of credit to them." - courtesy of The Tennessean Honorable Mention: Chris HopeHope continues to pave his path to the Pro Bowl with his stellar defensive play. He recorded five tackles on Sunday (tied for third most on the team) and had the team's only turnover with an interception in the first quarter. That pick now gives him four on the year, tied with Cortland Finnegan and Michael Griffin for team best, and putting all three of them tied for third in the league. It would be an absolute travesty if all three of them didn't make it to Hawaii. Let's do our part to get them there... (PRO BOWL) VOTE FOR A CHANGE ALL TITANS FANS CAN BELIEVE IN!!!!

Different game, same result. The Titans went into Chicago and beat the first place Chicago Bears 21-14 Sunday, once again finding a new way to win. This time, we saw a Titans passing game that produced a little over 14 times the yardage of the ground output. Doubt we'll see that again this season, but a gelling air attack is making a great Titans team even more dangerous. Sorry rest of the AFC. 9-0, didn't think I'd be typing that this season (in fact we should painfully admit that we had Tennessee winning 9 for the entire season). Sometimes we're more than happy to be wrong, and hopefully we'll seal the deal of our inaccurate pre-season win/loss total with a 10th win in Jacksonville next week. Hey, at least we got the Cortland Finnegan part right...

For the second straight week, the Titans will face the leader of the NFC North. This time, it will be a battle against the Chicago Bears at New Soldier Field. The Titans seem to be at full strength and speed, while the Bears are trying to be the first team beat the Titans, without their starting quarterback.

Yup. That's right folks, Albert Haynesworth is your cover boy for the newest issue of Sports Illustrated. Thanks to reader "Fat Albert Painsworth" for the heads up on this one. Wait a minute, you're not the Fat Albert Painsworth are you? I mean, I knew you were quite active in the "blogosphere", but you read our little ole' blog? We're fattered, i mean flattered...

Offensive: Chris Johnson "Dash" was our leading rusher: 24 attempts for 89 yards with a touchdown; and leading receiver: 6 catches for 72 yards. I'm starting to think that this kid is pretty good. He looked better as the game went on, always a great sign for a Titan running back. He has a 4.9 rushing average for the season and he continues to lead the AFC in rushing (as well as all rookies). We haven't seen a rookie make this big of an impact since... well I'm not even going to go there. Honorable Mention: Lendale White Lendale had 77 yards on 8 rushing attempts. Most of those yards (54) came from a big run in the second quarter, which set up a Johnson touchdown. I wouldn't say he had a great game. White, unlike Chris Johnson, is not exciting to watch. You don't get the sense he could break a big one at any time. So, perhaps its the improbability of seeing him running by people, but there's few sights more pleasurable for this Titans fan than #25 "sprinting" down the field. Defensive: Jacob FordWith Kyle Vanden Bosch leaving the game early because of a lingering groin injury, back-up Jacob Ford saw a lot of playing time. The second-year player made the most of his opportunity (actually this is his real rookie year because he missed all of last year with an injured Achillies). The 6th round pick from Central Arkansas sacked Aaron Rodgers twice and forced a fumble. He helped put the teeth back in a pass rush that was quite suspect Monday night against the Colts. Honorable Mention: Chris HopeAs usual, Hope was making plays all over the field. With 5 tackles, 2 passes defended, a sack, and an interception in the endzone, this was a good game even by his high standards. I didn't give him the game ball because the Packers passed for 314 yards, and we gave up some big plays, but I think some of those where on free safety Michael Griffin. On side note: How many defensive players do you think the Titan's will send to the Pro Bowl? I think it has to be at least 5 right? Tell us what you think.

The Titans philosophy of bend but don't break was in full swing today, as they were able to stop a mounted Packers attack that was hungry for blood, fresh off a bye week. These are the kind of victories that Titans fans have become accustomed to: heart-pounding, nail-biting, grind-em'-out wins. Whooo, was that close...

About to head down to LP a little early for the game today against the Packers. A win would put the Titans at 8-0 a perfect start to the first half of the season. Titans currently have a 10 game regular-season winning streak and a 5 game home winning streak. The buzz around town keeps building with every win, and the car flags are flying in full force. Todays game will be tough, Aaron Rodgers has been on fire lately, with a passer rating of over 100 in his last 4 games, hopefully Kyle Vanden Bosch is good and rested and ready to create some havoc. TITAN UP!!!!
