Highlights: Man UTD x Hull City

Manchester United struggled to secure a 4-3 win against newly promoted Hull City at Old Trafford. Phil Brown's side have become the darlings of the premiership after their fantastic shock start to the season with dramatic wins at Arsenal and Spurs and nearly pulled off another unlikely result at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils looked to be in a journey when a Cristiano Ronaldo double and goals from Michael Carrick and Nemanja Vidic put United 4-1 up.

For 15 minutes, United peppered the Hull goal, with Ronaldo and Berbatov going close. They scored once, when Vidic turned home Rooney's corner.

But Ferguson wanted more and introduced Carlos Tevez for Nani. It meant United had AŁ90million-worth of attacking talent on the pitch, plus Ronaldo, whose goal tally had shot up to seven.

But Hull City fought back with goals from Bernard Mendy and former Manchester City midfielder Geovanni which saw the Reds holding on for victory.

Sir Alex Ferguson has gambled a lot during this game when he tried to play with four attackers. Anderson form was good at the first half, but it dropped in the second and Fergie could only recognize this before few minutes from the end when he brought on John O'shea.

Wayne Rooney would be sent off during today game. The golden boy should concentrate more in his game and don't bother himself with scoring the 100th goal of his career as it will come now or later.

Two goals were enough as Man United defeated West Ham

It seem Sir Alex Ferguson is going to lose his bet again with Cristiano Ronaldo After the Portuguese winger scored two goals for United to give the Red Devils a relaxed victory against West Ham United at Old Trafford.

FIFPro World Player of the Year Ronaldo took his mark for the campaign to five, first profiting from Nani's strict cross before beating Robart Green from two yards, an effort that owed everything to the genius of Dimitar Berbatov.

Tevez was given a chance to prove his worth verses his former club and he could score from two chances If West Ham's goalkeeper was not fast.

The second half wasn't fast as the first, but it saw Carrick made his comeback. The England international looked fit and ready for next month important games in the Champions League and against Arsenal in the premier league.

Everton x Man United: Report and Highlights

Wayne Rooney could not score his 100 goals of his career as Manchester United were held with a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. United goal came in the first half by Darren Fletcher while Everton could equalized in the second half by Fellaini.

By dropping two valuable points, United have to wait other results to check their position in the Premier League table and they must win their postponed game against Fulham to stay close from the top four.

Manchester United starting lineup had seen the comeback of Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra. Ryan Giggs started the game again as a central midfielder, duo to Carrick and Hargreaves injuries, partnering Darren Fletcher who scored the game only goal.

The first threat came from Louis Saha. In the 10th minute the former United striker has wasted a glorious chance to feed in Arteta, who had drifted off his marker at the far post. The Frenchman went for goal but his effort from the edge of the box was blocked by Wes Brown's fine challenge.

Then United have dominated the game. After many chances Darren Fletcher has opened the scoring from Ryan Giggs' clever pass. A superb first touch took him past Lescott, and the finish was perfect pass Howard legs.

Although United were leading, Howard was the man for Everton as he made two great saves. First when Ronaldo's snapshot from the edge of the box and later when he sent Giggs curved ball away.

Wayne Rooney was not in his day. Everton fans were bowing all the time when he touched the ball. The golden boy did some effort but it could not convert into goals.

After 15 minutes of the 2nd half, Everton were level. When Fellaini has converted Phil Neville's cross from the right with a header. Fellaini was quicker than Vidic and sent the ball to the left angle giving Van der Sar no chance to save his goal.

Sir Alex Ferguson recognized Everton threat and made three substitutions during the second half by replacing Park, Rooney and Fletcher with Anderson, Nani and Tevez.

These attacking changes helped United to create chances. But with no return especially from Cristiano Ronaldo who has the best chance to give United the lead but he sent the ball away from Howard's goal.

Everton x ManUnited preview, Rooney to score 100 goals

Manchester United are heading to Liverpool to face Everton at Goodison Park. United hope to continue their good forms by recording another victory in the Premier League to get closer to Chelsea and Liverpool.

Wayne Rooney will be looking to score his 100th goals in the Premier League against his former club stadium where he scored his first ever goal.

"For obvious reasons, Saturday is a big game for me.

"It is always nice for any player to score 100 goals and if I can do that back at Everton, where I started and at Goodison Park, where I scored my first Premier League goal, it would be really pleasing.

"But it wouldn't really matter if it was my first or my 100th, it would still be really sweet."

Good news for United, Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra will be back to the starting lineup after missing last Tuesday game against Celtic in the Champions League.

Ronaldo(knee) and Berbatov(hip) are expected to be fit before tomorrow game. Meanwhile, Michael Carrick is penciled in for a comeback at home to his former club West Ham on Wednesday night.

Goals and Report: Manchester 4-0 WBA

Wayne Rooney continues his perfect form with Man United and England by helping the red devils with a massive victory against West Brom at Old Trafford. United trashed Baggies with four goals and Rooney took part in each goal with two assistances and one goal. United are now in the top four with a game in hands and If they keep wining this way, United could see themselves top of the Premiership very soon.

Sir Alex Ferguson started the game without Scholes, Hargreaves and Carrick. Tevez also was left out of the squad. However, Fergie gave the chance to the promising right-back, Rafael da Silva, to start the game.

The first half ended with a goalless draw. West Brom started the game playing fast football. They didn't allow United to play their attacking style. Rooney scored a goal but it was denied as it was appeared that Rooney pushed Gianni Zuiverloon to one side as he skipped onto Ronaldo's through ball.

In the second half, United have put West Brom under heavy pressure. Rooney cut in from the left flank and sent a driven effort past Carson from just inside the West Brom box.

Then Rooney turned provider as he dissected the Baggies defence to play Ronaldo through on goal. Cristiano collected the ball calmly before slotting home past Carson.

Two minutes later, Ryan Giggs passed the ball to Nani from a corner. His cross into the area went through defenders legs and straight to Berbatov who has an easy finish to score his first Premeir League goal for United.

Before the full time, from a lightning quick counter-attack Berbatov played the ball to Rooney on the right. The England international slided an inch-perfect pass behind the West Brom defence and Nani finished with his left foot, beating Carson at the near post.

Man United vs WBA preview

Manchester United are going to face newly promoted West Bromwich albion tomorrow at Old Trafford. While United will be missing Micheal Carrick and Owen Hargreaves again, WBA manager's Tony Mowbray will be hoping for another point from premier league giants.

The Baggies have already run Arsenal close away from home this term and will be looking to stop United top form.

Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that Wayne Rooney continues scoring goals with United as he did with England during the last two games of World Cup 2010 qualifications. It is likely to see Berbatov partnering Rooney in the front while Carlos Tevez to watch the game from the bench.

Manchester United had a good record when playing against WBA. The only time United have dropped Premier League points against West Brom was this corresponding fixture on 7 May 2005 when Robert Earnshaw's second-half penalty cancelled out Ryan Giggs opener and went some way to denying United from finishing the season in runners-up spot.

Starting XI:

Van der Sar, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Fletcher, O'Shea, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov.

Wayne Rooney goals in World Cup 2010 qualifying Group 6

Now, It seems there is nothing can stop Rooney from scoring more goals for his country and club. Sir Alex Ferguson is the happiest man because of Rooney recent great forms. Let's hope that Rooney continue playing such a great football and score more clubs for United. Enjoy watching the goals!

Carrick and Hargreaves to boost Manchester United squad

Manchester United squad will soon be boosted by the return of two important midfielders, Michael Carrick and Owen Hargreaves. The England duos are set to make their comebacks United Premiership game with West Bromwich Albion on 18th October. Carrick has missed the last six matches since breaking a bone in his foot against Liverpool a month ago.

The 27-year-old had only started one game before his Anfield sadness but manager Sir Alex Ferguson says he will almost surely be back on time to face the Baggies.

"We are expecting Michael to be available next week. He is almost back to full training now," said the United boss.

Meanwhile, Owen's frustrating long-term problem with knee tendonitis has improved.

He has fought the injury on and off ever since he arrived from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2007.

It struck him down again on the eve of the double winner's pre-season tour of South Africa. Despite treatment and injections throughout last term, the problem returned during the close season and forced the 27-year-old to skip the tour.

His delayed return began with an appearance as sub against Liverpool and starts against Villarreal and Chelsea.

Jaap Stam is back to Manchester!

Former Manchester United defender's Jaap Stam has made a shock return to Manchester United as a talent scout. The former Holland defender's relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson was critical when his candid 2001 autobiography carped the Fergie and some players like Roy Keane.

The centre back was sold to Lazio within weeks but the 36-year-old, who retired last year after ending his playing career at Ajax, is reported to be working as a scout for United.

Fergie funny moment during Chelsea game

United are not playing this weekend as there are no UEFA Champions League games due to World Cup 2010 qualifications games. So we tried to bring something different for you. A funny moment happened during Chelsea v Man United game. Assistant manager's Mike Phelan scared all United backroom staff including Sir Alex Ferguson as you can see in the photo.

Rooney promised to score more goals

Wayne Rooney has confirmed himself ready to take his United goal bombardment on to the international stage for the back-to-back World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Belarus. Rooney could score three goals out of the last three games.

"This was a really good result for us and I think we have repaired the damage now," said the England striker.

"That is four of our hardest games of the season out of the way and we are still in a decent position in the league.

"Hopefully we can go on a good run now and start climbing the table."

Now, the golden boy looks a different player to the one that went into battle against Andorra and Croatia, where he scored and was instrumental in England leaving Zagreb with a 4-1 win that leaves them in pole position to reach South Africa in 2010.

Van der Sar is back to international football

The KNVB (Dutch FA) have confirmed Edwin van der Sar has been influenced out of international retirement. United keeper has retired from international football after last summer European Championships in Austria and Switzerland after Holland knocked out in the quarter final.

But a shoulder injury to new number one Maarten Stekelenburg has left coach Bert van Marwijk with few options.

Now van der Saar has agreed to come back for the qualifiers against Iceland and Norway.

Utrecht goalkeeper Michael Vorm has also been called up with Henk Timmer of Feyenoord also a doubt - meaning van der Sar is likely to play and add to his 128 cap tally.

Goals and report: Rovers drove back as they lost to Manchester United

Man United have continued their good display after Liverpool defeat in Match day 3 and they sent a warning that they are ready to keep the Premier League trophy at Old Trafford.

The first threat came from Darren Fletcher who could not score to Dimitar Berbatov's sublime pass, United gained in control as the game went on.

Then, Wes Brown was at the centre of controversy when United took the lead just after the half hour. He produced a magnificent save to deny Ryan Giggs, who had advanced onto Berbatov's square ball with relish. But from the resulting corner, Rooney curled over a cross to the far post which virtually dropped on Wes Brown's head and bounced in.

Blackburn's keeper claimed Nemanja Vidic blocked his way as he went to collect the cross but TV replays suggested the contact was accidental, however, Morten Gamst Pedersen was booked for protesting.

Santa Cruz had wafted out of the game and though he briefly lifted the home fans with a powerful drive, Van der Sar was forced to push behind at the start of the second period, the Paraguayan was soon making his way to the dug-out for an injury-enforced change that hardly enhanced Blackburn's chances of getting something out of the game.

It looked like Ronaldo was going to provide Ferguson with an injury worry of his own when he gingerly held his right ankle after having a shot blocked by Christopher Samba.

However, the eventual world player of the year quickly recovered and, after failing to find the finish when the remarkable Berbatov had done the creating, he poured past Martin Olsson after collecting Brown's short pass by the touchline.

And, having charged into open space, Ronaldo was able to take his time and pick out Rooney, who produced an unstoppable first-time finish that flashed into the Blackburn goal.

Dimitar Berbatov, who opened his scoring account with United last game, and Carlos Tevez, who will replace Rooney, are looking forward to face Blackburn away at Ewood Park tomorrow. Wayne Rooney will be fit for England next week, even though he is still a doubt to play tomorrow.

Rooney has only just returned to training after injuring his ankle in Aalborg last Tuesday, but Sir Alex Ferguson has "no issues" with the 22-year-old joining up with Fabio Capello's England squad for the World Cup double-header with Kazakhstan and Belarus next week.
