It was McNabb, Dawkins and Westbrook saying they needed help BEFORE the season. It was bum @ss Reggie Brown, Cyber sexin Hanky and some other no-name, faceless pee on who was sayingwe are FINE and like Mccain they seemed to have blinders on about the serious situation @ hand, Oh yeah it was Andy saying everything was great as well. Well the Front office and Andy was proven WRONG AGAIN. I'm looking at two weeks of goal line pathetic play calling and mixed up TE's and Andy gripping his head in frustration and confusion. WTF do you expect! The Eagles are not paying attention to the Veteran PLAYERS !!!!!! They are who you THINK THEY ARE !!

Earl Bennett is a pretty solid look , I saw him play a few games at Vandy and it's not bad as far as fitting in at Philly. He should take a season or two to develop and he has very good speed so he can help even sooner in the Kick return game if taken.

Kid is solid as hell and he has good hands and size for Corner challenges.

It appears that Andy Reid has underestimated the market for Wide recievers and teams interested in trading with the Eagles. In other words the team is being TOO CHEAP and not showing any REAL interest in keeping Donovan McNabb for more than one more season.

The team has not even properly paid Brian Westbrook and he has far outplayed his contract so agents just don't trust Philly.

If you want a great reciever on the cheap who can deliver in the red zone than think outside the box and work a trade with Kellen Winslow Jr. He's due to make the about the same as the Eagles Smith and since Smith does not want to sign the franchise contract then get rid of him NOW NOW NOW !!

Offer Winslow a $ 5.5 million contract and it's still WAY CHEAPER than a Wide Reciever. You may be able to keep the bullsh!t reciever corp you have ( except Curtis) if you add some good hands like Winslow to the team.

Stop playing around and HELP THE OFFENSE !!!!!!!!! YOU NEED WEAPONS !!!

There are reports of many teams wanting the services of the Certified Cowboy Killer Lito Sheppard . I think it's going to happen soon and I think Lito deserves to be paid. Yes he has been hampered by some injuries but he's one hell of a Cornerback and very talented so if the Eagles can get the proper value for him then now would be the correct time for a trade to occur.

Lito's value is high and the Eagles need to parlay it into thier needs for a Wide Reciever. Shot Lito and a second rounder and perhaps a future 2 or 3 to the Lions for Roy Williams and the Eagles can make it work. We can get Roy Williams and a 4th rounder and keep it moving.

Well the crop of available Wide Recievers just got smaller with Free Agent Javon Walker signing a 6 year deal with the Oakland Raiders , The deal is worth 6 years 55 Million dollars. Everyone seems to be getting those key Reciever upgrades EXCEPT a few teams it appears .

It was the Truth Team that brought you the news of the Eagles trying to get Roy Williams and there is a good article on the reasons Roy Williams will not be leaving the Detroit Lions. Although Roy would be a excellent addition to the Eagles it does not appear that Roy Williams wants to play in Philly and the Lions are NOT interested in trading him.

The Eagles changed thier mind about McNabb so there should be no hard feelings to Detroit. We will keep you posted when we hear something new.

I really can't blame Randy Moss for not coming to the Eagles to tell the truth. If I was Randy I would have done the same thing as a player you have to play at a place that's the most stable for you as the individual. The reality is Philly is NOT committed to McNabb in the 3 or 4 year type of contract they would be offering.

If Philly is so quick to throw an Elite QB out to dry then he would be foolish to leave a winning team and a Elite QB already willing to continue winning.

Philly won't attract any real Wide Recievers until the Recievers are SURE that the QB is going to be around and Andy is NOT convincing anyone he's speaking to. If the player is on a losing team it's one thing but if they are from a semi-solid team the player would be dumb to play for the Eagles.

The team just wants McNabb to train Kolb and then dump him so I wouldn't come to Philly either !

While checking out the interview on ESPN Donovan McNabb said he has 9 to 10 more years of productive years still to play in the NFL, And YES I believe him. In looking at his conditioning program and his wisdom of not running out of the pocket unless needed I think that is a correct statement. Of course anything can happen however I would say McNabb is in just as much if not better than many of the 40 plus year old Quarterbacks on that level.

Brett and Warren Moon or heck even Steve Deberg made decent moves at that age.
