What a GAME...

I think that everyone that watched game 4, loved it! Well maybe besides the shock fans! What a battle between to great teams. I think going into the game you could sense that Phoenix wasn't gonna let this oppertunity pass them by no matter what. Phoenix has proven that they can win in a grind it out game or up tempo. Diana and Cappie played HUGE! If the Law of Averages holds true they are gonna come out of there shooting slump just in time for game 5. Both teams are gonna come ready and if Penny comes to play Phoenix should win easily just like in game 2!

Get it done!

Game 3 Tuesday night I know i'm gonna be watching...I think everyone knows that it's gonna be a far different game from last nights game...but DT and the Merc have got it back on track and are ready to really run the Shock out of US Airways...I wish I could get out there for the game...but i'm sure the X-factor will be loud and I know that I'll be screaming at home...

Why do some stars get the star treatment?

Why do some stars get the star treatment, why others get there every move watched?

The WNBA isn't the only league where this happens! But i've seen it first hand. You look at great players like LJ and Catchings, and you see the refs give them the benafit of the doubt on each and every play. Which I can understand but then there are players like Diana Taurasi that have there ever move watched by not only the refs but the league and the fans. She is different from the typical WNBA player. She wears her emotions on her sleave and plays in the moment. I've heard some announcers wonder why Dee doesn't drive to the basket more offten and the answer is simlpe. Because 90% of the time she does she gets called for the charge.

Another example is game onr of the finals where yes 3 of her fouls were bad fouls but you have to look at each of them from a players standpoint...she is the rover in the zone that means she doubles on the ball or if the ball is passed to a open player that becomes her man...her 5th fouls was a clean block PERIOD they showed the replay and Feinstra brought the ball all the way back and Dee made a great play reguardless of the call...and what some people see as stupid plays made in that game by her were actually her just trying to help her teammates that where out of possition...

I'm not saying that the refs should give ehr calls i'm just saying that she is a top notch player and she deserves the same "benafit of the doubt" that any other great player has gotten throughout there carrer!

Can't wait for game 2!
