Richt comes out and does a mea culpa for encouraging his players to "do something" after the first score. I am kinda torn on the issue, while I loved seeing our boys go nuts and crush the Gators - Richt himself made such a huge issue at the end of the Vandy game about excessive celebrating.

In the end I really don't care since we beat the Gators. Bad. Embarrassed them, really. And Tebow. Ha. ;)

What a great game! This was a real battle down to the end (and then some!). Matthew Stafford showed some real progress in this game.

As much as I like Kregg Lumpkin, I have to say that I was more than impressed with Knowshon Moreno this past weekend. It will be interesting to see if he has the maturity to perform against a top tier team.

The two remaining co-defendants in Michael Vick's federal dogfighting case on Monday scheduled hearings to enter plea agreements.

Purnell Peace is set to appear in federal court in Richmond on Thursday and Quanis Phillips on Friday.

"Here they are, folks, the same rankings I turned in as my preseason AP ballot a few weeks ago. I'm not exactly brimming with confidence about the order of the top five nor the bottom 10, so this year, even more than in the past, I expect to do some major reshuffling during the first few weeks of the season."
