It was discoverd in 2007 during the NCAA tournament that Chris Lofton, Senior Guard(then Junior) from Tennesse was diagnosised with Testicular Cancer. But the way he found out, was the hard part. After taking a drug test and failing it he was told by the doctor that he has a tumor that may be cancerous. Coach Bruce Pearl was on the Jim Rome Is Burning Radio Show today talking about this with Jim. He said they looked at the Lance Armstrong story and said that Chris just wasn't ready for that kind of pressure. Chris Lofton did have the cancerous tumor removed, just less than one week after the season-ending loss to Ohio State in 2007. To have played with this illness and still have the Senior seson Chris had is remarkable. Chris is projected to be drafted into the NBA in the incoming draft. Let's just hope that the cancer stays away.

Even through the spygate scandal coach Bill Belichick is voted Associated Press 2007 NFL Coach of the Year. The Patriots were determined to prove their coach was inocent, and having some of the most talented players in the NFL, Coach Belichick lead them to the first 16-0 regular season in the NFL history. Belichick and the organization was fined 750,000 dollars all together. 29 out of 50 voters of nation wide media members who coverd the NFL voted for Belichick on Thursday. He beat out Green Bay's Mike McCarthy, who received 15 votes for leading the Packers to a 13-3 season. I still believe that the Browns head coach Romeo Crennel should have won leading the team to a 10-6 record from a 4-12 record the previous year.

Am I the only one who notice that the New England area is dominating the sports world. The Revolution got to the Mls finals, the Celtics have the best record in the NBA, the Patriots went undefeated, the Red Sox won the World Series, the Bruins ain't that bad either, and they even had a pee wee football team come down to Orlando for a Championship game. But It's crazy how that area is just dominating the sports world. This other cities need to step up, huh?

This is a little quiz about NFL rules, regulations and other stuff. Before you take the quiz you have to choose which type of coach you are or could be. You can choose from: old school, the motivator, former player, the strategist, and the bleacher genius. Then you select the level rookie or legend.

This list consists of bloggers from across the American sporting world turning their list of the 10 sports figures they covered the most this year. This list includes nine NBA ballers, eight quarterbacks, seven coaches, four media members and a horse. Note that the votes were counted before the Mitchell Report, so Roger Clemens is spared inclusion.

Oh My Gosh!!!! If your a college football fan you know what I am talking about. This year has so many upsets you can put it with the year when the canelled Friends. LSU losing to Kentucky and USC losing to Standford. You have to be kinding me. Florida losing to Auburn which was kind of expected because that was the only team they lost to last year. But this also has been a year of victory. How is USF ranked 2 in the BCS polls this has to make LSU and USC sick to their stomach. And I know Cal has to be very sad they could of been ranked number 1 but to a rookie mistake they lost. All because of stupid mistakes and all these unknown teams we are in the Year of Upsets!

Some of you may have ask some one this or have been asked this " Why are the Bears doing so bad ?" Because of their quarterback situation. Duh!! They finally benched Grossman. They should of benched him during the Super Bowl. Now they have a washed up QB. He is doing ok though but not great like he is supposed to. I feel sorry for Urlacher, Hester, and Lovie because this team has too many weapons to be playing like this.
