Could it be true?? European Champions were bronze in Athens and it looks like they're looking for more in Beijing!!! Hm.. It's gonna be interesting!!!

Spartak is really an amazing team. When you have so many players with such performances you just can't lose!! Here are some numbers:

Tompson 12 pts, 7 reb

Shchegoleva 12pts (17min)

Bird 9a, 3st

Taurasi 22pts, 9reb, 6as, 3st

Matovic 17pts (19min)

Jackson 20pts, 5reb (23min)... :)

Diana Taurasi scored 32 in the Spartak victory over Gambrinus Brno. She made 8 three-pointers!!! No matter what Gambrinus tried to do they just couldn't stop her!!!

Now that there's no WNBA the bast women's basketball is played in Europe. Most of WNBA players now play there. If anyone's interested here's link where you can chek the results.
