What's with all the hating on Jason Kidd? Sports writers aren't saying he's a savvy veteran team player who's easy going in terms of the minutes he's playing, but rather are only pointing out that he has yet to attempt a field goal. Why isn't anybody mentioning how JKidd is now 52-0 as an Olympian? They brought him in for leadership, to mentor, and to start - which is EXACTLY WHAT HE"S DOING. I'm not reading any love for the man at all and I just think he deserves A LOT. Why are sports writers still obsessed with individual statistics in the Olympics? Even Kobe himself has bought into the Team USA system, so why can't sports writers? They (the writers) are portraying Kidd as a PG who is afraid to shoot when really he's too smart to shoot. If only basketball kept 2 assists per basket like the NHL then Kidd would get a heck of a lot more credit, as he often makes the pass that leads to the pass. Just my 2 cents...
