Due to my slacking on Thursday, I bring you a doubleheader college co-ed matchup. The noon matchup will feature the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners (-6) in the Red River Shootout. The winner of this game will most likely head into their matchup with Missouri as a favorite to reach the National Championship game.

And in the primetime matchup, we feature in my opinion the hottest conference of ladies: The SEC! The LSU Tigers go into the Swamp to face the Florida Gators (-6). The Bayou Bengals continue their quest for back to back national titles, while Tim Tebow tries to lead the Gators back into the top 5 after their dissapointing loss to Ole Miss.

The NHL did a great job in hiring an English rock band to kick off the 2008-09 NHL season. During a NHL Face-off Rocks segment the Stanley Cup was brought out and when handed to Def Leppard's Joe Elliot he placed the darn thing upside down. When asked about it he gave this classic response, "We're soccer boys, what do we know?" Classic!

The NBA Preseason is underway and yesterday we got a Bill Walker dunk on Theo Ratliff that had the Boston Celtics bench going crazy. Imagine the player Walker might have been without all those knee injuries.

It has finally been made public. Kendra Wilkinson has admitted in public that the relationship with Hugh Hefner is now over. She was on the Chelsea Handler show talking about her new relationship with Hank Baskett.

And according to E! Online, Kendra revealed something about the two that we all might find interesting.

"She dished that they keep in touch with Skype (aka live video chat) and have cybersex sessions on it. "It's way better than phone sex," she swears. "Try it!"

Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Dwight Howard, Tracy McGrady and others played at UCLA over the summer. I wonder how this team would fare against the Nike NBA players. Adidas might have the edge in the frontcourt, but how would they matchup with Kobe and Lebron on the perimeter?

Jordan Farmar: Certainly he had a nice season for the Lakers, helping them reach the NBA Finals. And he's done an amazing job this summer, bringing Israeli and Palestinian kids together for a basketball camp in Israel. But the tattoos are bothersome. Doesn't he know you can't be buried in a Jewish cemetary with tattoos.

Sage Rosenfels: What was with that helicopter leap/fumble against the Colts? He blew a huge lead with like 5 minutes left in the game. Pathethic.

Eliot Sadler: Race cars? Really?

We all know that the NFC East is by far the best division in the NFL and each win within it is one to be proud of. So after the Washington Redskin defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday we see Antwaan Randel El lead the postgame cheers. I can't get over how happy he is. Hip Hip Hooray!

The Boston Red Sox make it back to the ALCS with a dramatic series clinching win over the Angels. It was sick play after sick play! I guess that is what playoff baseball is all about.

Today's college co-ed matchup features the Oregon St Beavers v the Utah Utes (-11.5). Oregon St is fresh off the upset of then ranked #1 USC and is looking to stop another offensive juggernaut in the Utes. Utah has a chain moving offense led by Quarterback Brian Johnson, who has thrown for 1129 yards and 8 touchdowns over the first five games.

Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price made a unbelievable save against the Detroit Red Wings Brian Rafalski a couple nights ago. I can't imagine the reflexes involved in tending goal, but this play took it to another level.
