I know this is a sports website but artists and athletes seem to go pretty well together. The crazy money they make to entertain the masses and iconic status allow them to voice their opinions more openly than the rest of us. Well to get to my point, I have never liked Kanye West. I've always picked up on his lyrics and comments he would make and viewed him as a racist. I had this thought that he was pretty ridiculous and only thought of his self. My thoughts changed the other night when I watched his MTV show Homecomings. As a soldier I saw a man who regardless of any opinions he may have against the war and our government, is doing the right thing. I am really proud to see these overpaid entertainers do something with all of that money. Many athletes, rappers and other performers can take note from what he is doing and help the hundreds of thousands of soldiers that are coming back from the war zone screwed up. All who are helping I will tip my hat to. The rest who are spitting drinks on women, wasting money on 15 cars and acting like they have no sense should be ashamed and take a page out of a philanthropist's book and give something back. So, thanks Kanye, you are a good person in my book now,,,, not that it really ever mattered to anyone.
