Best Poker Movie Quotes?

What are some of your favorite poker movie quotes of all time? My favorite poker movie is The Cincinnati Kid, so I will start off with this gem:

"Gets down to what it's all about, doesn't it? Making the wrong move at the right time...Like life, I guess. You're good, kid, but as long as I'm around you're second best. You might as well learn to live with it."

Flopped Set Turn Play - Extracting Max Value

For instance, if the pot contains $30 and you need to make a call of $10 to stay in the hand, the pot odds are $30 to $10 or 3:1. To convert this to a percentage, you add the size of the pot part of the ratio (3) to the call part of the ratio (1) to get 4. To get the percentage you divide the sum 4 by 1 which is 25% (1/4). Poker Podcasts - What's on your ipod?

The selection of Poker Podcasts were slim pickings when I first started playing poker just a few short years ago. My favorite, and still an all-time classic, was "Card Club on Lord Admiral Radio". Sean and Brent, I feel, were the pioneers of the poker podcast world and they also introduced Columbo to the podcast community. Card Club ran for 84 great episodes which is amazing for any podcast and is a testament to the hosts and it's listeners. [ Continue to link to read more ]
