I really didnt care much about the olympic games. Sure Phelps is gonna win all the swimming events and the Dream Team is going to ally oop themself to gold. I felt this way until i saw Javelin thrower Leryn Franco... I mean look at her... go to the link you will not regret you did... The other event I watched closely is the girls gymnastics... not because i enjoy watching 12 yr old girls but because I am just in love with 20 year old alicia sacramone. I am sad this is probably going to be her last olympic games... i shall miss her hidden 6pack abs and tree trunk legs and rock hard behind... so sad

i think $50 mil easy... hes gonna be in those "unstoppable" watch commercials, maybe from wrangler to prada jeans, i think bretts gonna suck that money dry and i dont blame him... get that $$$ brett im commin to see you in 2 games this season!!

As the day came was close to an end... the sun set just as game time... the weather resembled octobers red orange sky with a slight breeze... yes my friends football is finally here.. even though its just the first game of the preseason, I watched every snap, cheered for big plays yelled at the tv WTF's all around... It was great, soon college football will being and so the fall/winter months will fly by and it will be gone in a flash...

Im not going to say poor Santana mostly because hes making about 20 mil+ a year. However I do feel kinda sorry for him due to the fact that if the mets didnt blow leads for him he would be mentioned for the CY Young award. Santana could have been the first Met since Dwight Doc Gooden who did it in 1985. Hopefully the mets have some good arms in the minors that they will use once the rosters expand in september, because they sure need to figure out whats going on there.

Is the x games the best week long event during the summer? i think so... what do you think? i dont follow the skaters riders etc.. at all but once a year i tune in and i know them by heart, remember what they did the previous year. They maybe the craziest people out there

a twins player tries to bunt while getting hit by a pitch and the umpire calls him out. this pisses off gardner when it was clear that the batter got hit. the fans act up and throw items on the feild and ozzy calls him players off the field and in the process gets into a shouting match with a fan behind the white sox dugout... im tired of umps getting plain as day calls wrong even thought replay wouldnt be used in a situation like this i cant wait till it gets implimented!! enought about this honor code crap. if the umps making 100k+ a year cant do thier jobs then something must be done!!

yanks should of picked up pitching... joba cant get it done all alone, i still dont trust mussina, or pettite, they need to just stop trying to pick up 90s all stars, it pisses me off! do they not like young talent? i dont look at stats much but im pretty sure they are probably dead last in steals. i keep hearing how they have a nice farm system, but i guess we will never find out since they keep trading talent for washed up past all stars that are on the decline of their career

one of the greatest lefties in the game is probably going to the white sox. Im not sure how he will help the team when hes hitting .245.. maybe some games at DH will benefit him, but im glad hes going back to a good team and will be in the playoffs and hopefully he will get his first ring. Jr deserves it

So team USA again plays allstar basketball running nothing but fast breaks allys and trying to break the rim on every dunk. Turkey had two key players missing hedo and okur. What happens when they play a team of real caliber? I believe in our team but i hope they can play with the best of them and focus and keep winning like they keep winning and hope coach K keeps them in check cuz turkey missed lots of open shots and i dont know if other shooting teams will do the same.

with manny complaining about his bum knee while DHing and playing in fenways short left field, how is he going to play in the national leagues no DH rule? Also the team he is rumored to go to the marlins the have a regular field to cover so how is his bum knee going to do him there? I guess if bonds could do it manny probably can... plus he can be manny in south beach where hell probably love it

After being hit in the face by albert pujols on may 21, chris young was on the DL ever since then with a broken nose and fractured skull. He made his first start today since that incident, and pitched a great game going 5 innings, walking 2 and giving up 2 hits and did not allow a run. If only the padres had some bats in the lineup to give him a win it would have been a great story, but he was outpitched by doug davis who was on the DL this year too for throat cancer,had a perfect game through 7. Still glad to see Chris back since the injury he had usually messes up pitchers mentally.

Ricky williams could have been one of the greatest running backs ever, but he chose to puff it up... only reason he came back is probably cuz he ran out of drug money, but hey u can hate the man.. imagine how it would be like ... high out of your mind in the middle of the ocean, lost not giving a damn just chilling... yo ricky can i come aboard?
