The Bay Area's Best - Robert The Ghost Guerrero

I had the honor of first meeting The Ghost some years ago when he first turned pro. Right away, I knew he had something special. Not only did he have the moves of a great fighter but he had that little something in his eye that you can't buy or fake. Though this young man walks the streets with absolutely no air of authority or any measure of hostility he is the exact opposite once the bell rings.

He is a very genuine fellow and very gratious with fans. Are there other prospective representatives in Professional Boxing for Northern California? Yes! But none like The Ghost.

In Boxing a lot of us come from the streets or "other side of the tracks" so to speak. Too many youngsters (and some oldsters) try to talk that tough street lingo in their interviews and want to come off like "Hard" guys. Even in the press conferences they want to talk all that "shit" talk. Some have the belief that they're selling tickets. But that's B.S.

THE TRUE "TICKET SELLERS" AND "SHIT TALKERS" are your hands when it comes to Professional Boxing. Robert The Ghost Guerrero talks with his hands the way a professional Boxer should. This young man is the one to watch so keep checking his page here on YardBarker for his upcoming fights.

Chuck Liddell

I really dig this video because Chuck had just lost his second fight in a row 3 days prior to this interview @ Frisco Boxing's TUESDAY NIGHT FIGHTS in S.F.(Sept.25th 2007 show) and I'd say most critics had him done and soon to announce retirement but as he said in this interview "whatever I want to do, it includes, still fighting". Next Fight out he had a one sided victory over Wanderlei Silva who every one was saying would retire Chuck for good. Chuck showed Championship grit and is far from being done..

Congrats Chuck and all of you at mmajacked.com- also thanks for pluggin' JP and making our Frisco Boxing show part of your historical journey with this video.

FRISCO BOXING'S - an update on San Francisco's Boxing Scene

Frisco Boxing's Jason JP Peterson is all set to fight his Professional Debut at the San Jose Arena - The Shark Tank in June....The event is promoted by GoossenTutor Promotions. The exact date is to be announced soon. We are also in the works to bring a pro show to SF in July with JP headlining as his "farewell" fight. Due to other engagements these fights will be his only fights so come out and support this exciting fighter as he lives his dream and shows the world....you're never too old to live your dreams.

JP started Boxing at 30 having never participated in any competitive sports. He started Boxing as therapy for an injury he recieved when he was shot in the left arm with a .45 which snapped his bone in half. While everyone thought that Boxing would be a strange way to rehabilitate his arm no one imagined he would actually want to compete in Boxing. 'He's way too old to start ' would be the typical word on his decision to compete in Boxing.

Four years later he's the biggest draw in Northern California. Outdrawing even our local World Champs and Pro's. A documentary is being made about Boxing in the Bay Area showcasing some of JP's fights as well as interviews and training. Their will be electricity in the air at The Tank when JP walks down that aisle for his pro debut...Don't miss this one folks!

For updates on this event check in @ www.friscoboxing.net

thanks,

Arturo- Frisco Boxing
