When I think of real baseball guys, George Brett is one of the first that comes to mind. He always looks like he's just bathed in pine tar and nailed three fat chicks in an effort to break an 0-21 slump. This video confirms it. I don't know if he forgot he had a mic on him, or if he just didn't give a ****, but the man can tell a story. I've **** myself before, and I've even told stories about it, but never with the gusto and showmanship that George Brett exhibits in this video. If there were a hall of fame of ****ing yourself stories, he'd be a first ballot selection along with my friend Kyle who **** himself just as he walked into a job interview at AAMCO.

Listen, I hate to be unpatriotic while the Most Deeply Important Cultural Event In History is currently going down over in Beijing, and I readily concede that Michael Phelps is probably the greatest Olympic athlete of all time, whose physical achievements aren't even fathomable to an aging, out-of-shape blogger such as myself, but after carefully reviewing extensive photographic evidence of what he looks like when he's wearing street clothes instead of Speedos, I have to at least ask the question: "Is Michael Phelps a douche?" Before expressing your outrage over this seemingly premature Blagglash, at least allow me to present the following evidence for your consideration:

anyway, the website's in italian but the video is pretty good (and in english).

The noticeable differences are mainly aesthetic, the player graphics look tweaked but they look a little like the live characters (where everyone is sort of hunched over and really angry and dark-eyed) but it's hard to tell from just this little video. the player animations are better (inc. the KG chest pound) and to my surprise the commentating is different (obviously its going to be different this year but it was mostly the same even during the demo's they released on live for 2k8 so its cool to see they'r showing it early) - also, the best feature by far, Cheryl Miller is in the game!!!!!

The U.S. Olympic basketball team wrapped up its exhibition schedule with its toughest test, pulling away to beat Australia 87-76 Tuesday night in its final game before heading to Beijing.

The United States led by only four points nearly halfway through the third quarter and was up by seven midway through the fourth against an Australian team that was resting its best player, Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut.
