Finally! For once, there is actually good news coming from Eagles training camp, and it doesn't just involve there being no bad news. First of all, it looks like the whole Shawn Andrews thing will finally come to a sluggish end, as Andy Reid reported in a press conference earlier today: "I think he'll be here sometime today. a€¦Not sure exactly when, but we'll get him up here and have a chance to talk to him and see how he's doing, where he's at here."

Yesterday as I was driving home from a long a exhausting day at the office, I was listening to my favorite sports talk show, 1140 KHTK in Sacramento. They had a guest on the show by the name of Mike Freeman from CBS Sports. Although he was quite insightful about the rest of the league, he came out and stated, " I can't see what direction the Raiders are going." I was apalled that a "national reporter" would have no better information about the Raiders, so instead of saying things such as,

Yes, I do think Toby will be a fan, but I don't think he is ready for sponsorship just yet. But what's in a name? Well, if you ask most OKC fans, everything. We want it to be cool, to instill fear, and to look cool on a jersey. Unfortunately, whatever it is will most likely twisted around by rivals and bitter Seattle fans to sound less than intimidating. And with many good names already taken by many teams in the area and in all of professional sports, our options are limited. So while speculation is still an option, what are some of the options?

After a disappointing 2007 season in which everything seemed to go badly, the New York Jets went into the offseason hoping to patch up major holes, both in their offense and their defense. Most of the attention went to how they shelled out big contracts to Alan Faneca and Damien Woody. And while the Jets did everything they could to try to strengthen the offensive line, the defense was made an even bigger priority.

Soon the the new Oklahoma City NBA team will be releasing their new name. We decided here at SportsTechNow to do a little research on the most obvious domain names if the Oklahoma City team would be called the Outlaws. Here are the names we came up with:

This is a new series I'm trying out called "10 Reasons Why I Hate..." The first target of my psychotic rage is Duke. Duke sucks and I hate them. I don't even want to elaborate anymore in this opening paragraph. Let's just get right to it.

Honorable mention goes to Larry Brown Sports (16,303 uniques), and Mister Irrelevant (15,654 uniques). New sites added this month are The Offside, Brahsome, and Cuzoogle. Busted Coverage has been removed from the list due to too much tail and not enough sports.

Everyone loves a good batch of rankings for the very same reasons--most are wrong, providing debate for the misses the poor soul who made the list whiffed on.

Fox Sports decided to run with a story on the popular Matt Leinart Drunk Pictures floating around the internet that originated at The Dirty. Here is the article that Fox Sports has on the subject. It seems like they should have just reported on the story and linked to the pictures or not put the pictures up at all.

Ah, the AL East. I'm picking the blasted Red Sox to win. Yeah, they lost Schilling and Beckett's back is slightly cranky but that's not going to kill them. They have enough young pitchers to plug in Schilling's spot, who would probably be better than him. Beckett's loss would hurt, but at this point its nothing to worry about. The bullpen is good, but every if the pitching wasn't good, the Sox can score runs.

When we compare this list from November to December, we think it is much more accurate. Newcomers to the list are Mets Blog, Awful Announcing, Busted Coverage, Epic Carnival, Minor League Ball, USS Mariner, Fire Joe Morgan, and Blogging the Boys.

First off, let me say that WL and KSK have no official ties to each other, other than that I write for both. I founded KSK in June of '06 with Big Daddy Drew, Unsilent Majority, Monday Morning Punter, and a fifth Beatle who left the blog shortly thereafter. After that happened, we added Christmas Ape and flubby. Those are all real names, of course.
