Keep Aaron Heilman?

As crazy as it sounds, Gotham Baseball Magazine's Mark Healey says the Mets should keep Aaron Heilman!

Week 6 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

With Week 5 now in the books, your Fantasy Football team either has a winning record or a losing record. If you're on the losing side, it's time to make moves that will help you get back on the winning track. My first piece of advice would be to take a look at the next three weeks of football games and figure out the top three players at each position based on their strength-of-schedule and try to make a trade for those players. The second piece of advice would be to listen to the Fantasy Gridiron Live Show every Sunday morning from 10-11am. This show has all the latest injury reports, news and notes from around the NFL and over the last five weeks has nailed their Super Starters, Sleepers and Bust picks. Finally, my third piece of advice would be to hit the waiver wire and pick up players that have a decent matchup for Week 6.

Remember, these teams are in their bye-week for Week 6 : Bills, Chiefs, Steelers and Titans

Week 5 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

With the second bye week hitting Fantasy Owners in Week 5, the waiver wire becomes that much more important as owners try to fill the void left from under performing players or injuries. This week there are plenty of players to target and matchups that will favor you and your Fantasy team going forward. Remember, these teams will be on bye in Week 5 : Browns, Jets, Raiders and Rams

Pudge Wants To Be A Met?

The Mets need a leader, and Gotham Baseball's Mark Healey says that Pudge Rodriguez is telling people -- and the Mets -- that he's the guy for the job. Pretty interesting article with a link to an interview with MetsBlog founder Matt Cerrone as well.

With the first bye week hitting Fantasy Owners in Week 4, the waiver wire becomes that much more important as owners try to fill the void left from under performing players or injuries. This week there are plenty of players to target and matchups that will favor you and your Fantasy team going forward.

Week 3 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups

A pretty exciting Week 2 in Fantasy Football. Once again the injury bug struck several key Fantasy players, but not to fear, the Waiver Wire Junkie is here. I had some comments from my Week 2 Waiver Wire Pickups article that I'd like to first address because I think it's important to understand that this Waiver Wire Pickup article doesn't just cover your standard leagues, but also your RotoHog teams as well.

Party Pooper

Gotham Baseball's Mark Healey wants to know why Carlos Delgado's MVP year started right around the time that Willie Randolph got canned? Does Jerry Manuel get the credit for the turnaround? Healey doesn't think so.

Week 2 Waiver Wire Pickups

What a way to start the first week of the football season? Some Fantasy Owners saw their season disappear when they watched quarterback Tom Brady grab his knee in agonizing pain. As those Fantasy Owners got down on their knees and prayed Brady would be ok, the news of him being out for the remainder of the season echoed throughout the football world. For you Brady owners, the good news is, it's only week one. You now have a chance to hit the waiver wire running.

This week we'll take a look at three players you should be targeting on the waiver wire to help you Fantasy Football team get back on track.
