Suns new coach

I've really tried not to get caught up with all the blogs and everything throughout the post season but now I've collected my thoughts and I'm ok now lol. With all the talk about coaching job, I'd like to throw my two cents in...Its probably a long shot but I'd really love if Mr. Hubie Brown would be considered!! He's an excellent broadcaster but his forte is coaching! I truely believe he would be the one to take us to that next level and beyond! I mean we have great players, talent and tons of potential and Hubie Brown is the one that can put it all together!

Shaq playing for Suns doesn't sound half bad

I think Marion and Banks for Shaq is a good deal! I know you're all thinking I'm crazy right now but lets break it down...O'Neal doesn't have to run with the Suns he can just stay back and play defense and rebound for us! Which is the biggest thing thats killing us, right! How many players have had career nights against us...too many. With Shaq daddy inside...all that stops! And Amare Stoudemire can move over to his true position, PF! He might be complaining about his touches in Miami but when you come to a winning team it changes a bit! And hes been through it all, hes a professional he knows in the playoffs when it matters the most we'll be feeding him all night!!

Don't get me wrong I love Shawn and Banks. They are terriffic players and great guys, they've done a lot for the city of PHX and if this trade does happen they will be sorely missed!

Big things happening in Phoenix

I'm going to make a statement about the Phoenix Suns' Boris Diaw. I think he will turn it up a few notches this season! When Boris first came to the Suns nobody really knew what to expect from him but the way this offense is he fits in perfectly. He has such a high basketball IQ he can play multiple positions, well I might add. His talent and potential aren't an issue its his willingness and desire to fight and make an impact and do what we all have seen him do two seasons ago on a consistent basis! The way the season came to an end should be enough to get him motivated. Expect big things from Boris Diaw!

Onto another Phx team, the Mercury! I just want to give them a quick shout-out! Congrats on sweeping the Seattle Storm and doing it in an impressive way! Good Luck in the next round!

What Do The Suns Pick----Now (KG) or Later (STAT)

Kevin Garnett has made everyone jump when he said he would like to be traded, right? Phoenix is a place he seems to be interested in and with the recent signing of Grant Hill and the departure of Kurt Thomas it makes me wonder if the Suns are trying to get KG. Maybe not right now but before the trade deadline in February. If thats so, it would take a lot more to get him here. Who would be in this package deal for him? The Timberwolves say that they have no interest in Shawn Marion and I highly doubt the Suns are going to trade the 3 time MVP (you all know he deserved it again) Steve Nash so that leaves Amare Stoudemire.

Stoudemire is definitely a good basketball player now and he is still young we have to let him grow into that GREAT player we all know he can be...the question is since the team was so close to winning a championship this past year are they willing to wait on him? Or do they pull the trigger and send him to Minnesota for Garnett?

The Suns would gain a great rebounder and a very solid defender against those big guys (Tim Duncan). Not to mention another offense threat and on top of that someone who gives you everything he has every single night! To get him half way through the season would be ideal so he won't run out of gas come playoff time. But again what would the Suns be losing? Stoudemire can do anything he puts his mind to, he proved that coming off the knee surgeries and bouncing back so strongly. He could be the next Kevin Garnett...maybe even better also who else would be leaving! To give up that much...for a few years...just doesn't seem worth it in the long run.
