First week of practice is over and it was amazing...I mean we started slow and the first two practices were kinda gross but after the third we picked it up and even the freshmen stepped up and stopped playing like freshman and just played to were there weren't too many gaps between the freshmen and seniors and thats what we need...so a great week of practice

So yeah i know some teams do three and days and i was apart of that...but honestly 3 a days weren't that bad when i did them...morning run...afternoon practice...evening lift...i mean yeah you whine and complain but honestly its not that bad...but two a days suck...cause theres not running or lifting in there...theres just straight balls to the wall lax...and yeah lax is fun but the beginning sucks because there so much more work you have to do...full field this full field that and because we have so many good players we have to run harder i know weird right...but because we have 40+ players we run that much harder...and therefore two a days suck and the part two hasn't even started yet for me...

So tomorrow marks the beginning of the last season for me and even though I'm going to hate graduating and not being able to play college lax anymore I'm more than excited to get crackin at a new fresh start. We're going 41 strong and even though we have a difficult schedule ahead; the players who were brought in this year to try and achieve a winning record make it easier to see that winning might be possible if we just play hard. So a beginning to a new season and a beginning to the last season, may it be memorable and fulfilling. MU Lax # 3

Hey everyone this article is mainly for the younger lacrosse players in the world but the veterans can learn a lesson also... So, I am very picky about which lacrosse head I use and to be honest I don't think I'll ever use another head besides an Revo Pro by Warrior. Therefore because I know there are lacrosse players out there just like me but who are younger and will be going into college when the new head rule is in full effect hear is a sure fine way to keep your favorite lacrosse stick. First of all there's not much you really need to do to prepare the head, when I was younger I use to undo all the strings place it in the pot after the water boiled let it sit and yada yada yada...then I started leaving all the mesh in there and that was fine. The problem was that it still didn't do much to soften the head to either pinch or spread out, then one time i baked it and all the mesh and shooting strings and so forth got messed up and I was livid. So with the long story comes to best method:
items needed-shooting/sidewall string...lacrosse head...oven...cooking aluminum pan
1. make sure you have a head (it can be on the shaft...but I'd rather not so I can put the head all the way in)
2. pre-heat the oven to 450 and let sit for 10min
3. take long side wall string or shooting string and attach it to were you want to pull apart (for pinching it's different)
3B) if your going to pinch it use shooting string or side wall but have something to place the head down so you wont burn your hands and tie the string on the inside of the sidewalls and pull towards each other with them over lapping each other simple and basic
4. leave in over for 5 min
5. use oven mitts its very important so you don't burn your hand...even the best of us forget (me)
6. grab the head from out of the cooking pan by the strings the head will still be to hot to grab
7. find something thats at symmetrical distance and height and tie one end of the string somewhat loosely to the other end...then take the untied side and tie it as tight as possible to the other side...finally take the loser of the two untie it again and then pull as hard as you can and then tie it again as tight as possible...for the best effect use string thats fairly long and that can wrap around a object multiple times for tight fit to insure that the string will not come unloose and thus having the head not spread out as far as desired...alright thats all holla
