Today's a day I'll never forget. The
Boston Celtics winning their 17th Championship Title, today, June 17, 2008. I'm 16 years old, I've been a Celtics fan for the past years and this is the first Championship I've got to see them win. Words cannot descibe how happy I am for this team. It seemed as though everyone stepped up and went beyond expectations.
Rajon Rondo, did an amazing job. It was like night and day with him driving hard to the basket, staying aggressive and still making plays and creating open shots for others as well as having 21 points and 6 steals.
Ray Allen was amazing as well. Hitting three after three, showing people what he's made of.
James Posey did an outstanding job shutting down Kobe getting steals and hitting threes as well. Then there was
Eddie House, running the show and doing his job, while Rondo was out. It was great to have Perkins back out there. Just his presence really sets a tone, whether he's pounding it down low, or blocking shots. The bench was also a factor tonight. P.J. Brown, Davis, Tony Allen and the rest of the team were nothing but great on and off the court.
Paul Pierce, always doing justice for this team, whether it was hitting threes, or getting the contact for that extra point. M.V.P. of the FInals is right! And that's the truth. Last but certainly not least, KG, The Big TIcket,
Kevin Garnett. An outstanding job done by him. Either pounding it down low, or taking outside shots, he made 'em count. There is not one person on this team, including Doc Rivers that does not deserve this Championship. When I see them play, I see more than a team. I see brothers, who play together, and have this love for each other that fires them up and keeps them going. You can really see how much heart and dedication they really have. They're a bunch of humble guys, always playing their best. They deserve this more than any team out there right now because of that, because they're moer than just a team and I could not be more happy or proud for these men.
