The Nuggets are going through some tough times, while they are playing pretty good basketball. To start off with the bad news, the Nuggets lost to the Phoenix Suns, a game in which the Suns liked to run up the score, even though they knew they were going to win. They hit 20 three-pointers, that is 60 points right there. They had 135 overall. Next, Nene, the Brazilian Big Man, had to take an immediate medical leave of absence for personal issues. Hope and pray that Nene gets better. Nene was named to the Rookie-Sophmore Challenge once and recently won 4th place in the FIBA Americas Olympic Qualifying Tournament with Brazil. My best wishes for you, Nene. On the bright side, the Nuggets are 4-1 in 2008 (Happy New Year!). We recently beat the Orlando Magic, which came as a tough win. The hero- Anthony Carter once again. We have games coming up against the Charlotte Bobcats (recently beat the Boston Celtics), the Atlanta Hawks (recently beat the Cleveland Caveliers), and the Utah Jazz (Division Rivals). We have a chance to win all of those games! Go Nuggets! Footnotes: The Colorado 14ers are 9-8... The Nuggets waived Bobby Jones... Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson have been named Player of the Week this year... The Nuggets are tied for first in the Northwest... Terrance Crawford is back with the 14ers... Make sure you vote for Nene, Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Marcus Camby, and one more of your Nuggets for the All-Star game!

Merry Christmas everyone! This is going to be a good Christmas. The Nuggets are 16-11 and in 1st of the Northwest! The 14ers are 9-4 and 1st in the Southwest! The last coulple of games have been tough for the Nuggets, with A.C. hitting the the Game-winner in 2OT over Houston, Kleiza hitting the game-winner over Sacramento. Well, I want to wish every one a merry Christmas and congratulate the Nuggets and 14ers organizations for starting off so well! Melo is out of his slump and it looks like J.R. is out of it too. Nene and K-Mart are on their way back! We got Milwaukee and two games against Golden State up next. Go Nuggets!
P.S. My basketball team, the Lightning, are now 4-0!

Wazup Yardbarkers! Long time, no talk! The Denver Nuggets are having trouble finding their groove. After a 6-game winning streak, Denver is 1-4! We lost to the Clippers who seem to be the Nuggets-stoppers, the Rockets who played tough all night, the Pacers who we had a chance to beat but didn't pull it off, and the Lakers, who was given the win. Our lone win came against the Minnesota T-Wolves who we needed to beat because they are a division rival. I think I have talked about the Clippers in another article, so no comment. The Rockets are just tough. They have the best Chinese player on the planet (in my eyes), Yao Ming, an NBA All-Star in T-Mac and one of the best rookies in the league, Luis Scola. It was a tough night. We had a chance to beat Indiana, but J.R. missed the game-tying free throw. He made a nice move at the 3 to draw the foul, made the first two and missed the third. Final score of that game: Pacers-112 Nuggets-110. But keep your head up J.R; it happens to the best of them. Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Earl Watson, etc. The Lakers was a dissapointing loss. We were up by 17 and L.A. ends up winning by 28! Come on! We are now 9-7 and in 2nd place in the Northwest. George Karl was supposed to coach his Nuggets against his son, Coby Karl, last night. It didn't happen. Before the game, Coby was assigned to the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the D-League. They would have become the 3rd father-son combo to play against eachother in an NBA game. In his first D-League game, Coby scored 19 points. The 14ers are coming off a win against the Idaho Stampede. We are now 2-1 and tied for 3rd in the West Division. Nugs play the Los Angeles Clippers at home tonight. Watch out for Chris Kaman and the 3-ball! Vote for your Nuggets in the All-Star game! Melo, A.I; Nene, Camby, and a write-in vote! FYI: The Nuggets have waived Mike Wilks and signed Jelani McCoy.

Happy Turkey Day everyone! The Nuggets have the day off along with the rest of the NBA! 2 days ago, the Nuggets rolled past the Chicago Bulls easily at the Pepsi Center. That may be because the Bulls were 2-7 coming into the game and they were without Luol Deng. That win put the Nuggets atop the Northwest Division and kept us riding our 6-game winning streak. In that game, Carmelo, had 26 points and The Answer chipped in 22. However, that streak came to a halt when Denver took on the Los Angeles Clippers. Denver is now on a 1-game losing streak. I don't know why, but the Clippers seem to always be the "Nuggets stoppers." They beat us once last year, 4 times in the 2006 Playoffs, and once so far this year! WHY?! We have a must-win division game up next, taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Watch out for Antoine Walker and Al Jefferson. Anyway, at 8-4, that keeps the Nuggets tied for first place in the Northwest with the Utah Jazz (8-4). Have a great Turkey Day everyone!

I went to the Knicks game yesterday and man it was FUN! The Nuggets improved to 7-3 and with losses by Seattle, Minnesota, Portland, and Utah, Denver moved into first place in the Northwest Division. The Knicks are now 2-7. Anyway, Carmelo had a great game with 3 rebounds and 24 points. A.I. was big too, with 4 assists and 23 points. Camby had 20 rebounds. The Knicks had one tech and Renaldo Balkman fouled out. The Nuggets won by 32. In the closing minute, the Nugs were up 112-83. My friend said 'Come on, hit a three so we would have 115.' Right then, Von Wafer drained a 3 and New York held it to the end. At the game, I voted for the All-Stars, including Nene, A.I., Melo, Camby, and J.R. Smith. At Altitude Authentics, I bought a mini basketball that has all 5 Nuggets logos on it. I turned in the ballot and my friend got a free Nuggets glass. Then, we went home and played basketball in his basement. It was so much fun. I have to say, it was one of my most fun sleepovers. Anyway, the Bulls are up next, and hopefully, the record will be 8-3, not 7-4. Go Nugs! Eddie Gill was the first Gatorade Call-up of the Year. He was called up by the New Jersey Nets out of the Colorado 14ers. Go Colorado!

Okay, I have a couple things to say. It was so much fun to watch that that Nugs-Cavs game. It was easy for Denver. A.I. had a good game while being close to 40 points, with 37. Carmelo did what his coaches wanted him to do by getting 9 rebounds, 7 in the first quarter, and scoring in double figures again. We also kept LeBrick under 28 points. The Nuggets won by 22 points and J.R. Smith had 29. He made 7 threes in a row! He went 7-8 for the night. My favorite play was where Zydrunas had the ball and J.R. poked it out of his hands and started the fast break. It was him and The Answer. 2 on 1 and Smith fed the ball to Iverson, where J.R. jumped and A.I. had the Cav guarding him. Allen threw it up and with a B-E-A-Utiful catch, J.R. slammed it down backwards. 2 points and 1 steal for Smith, 1 assist for A.I. That pretty much set the tone for the game. Final score: Nuggets-122, Caveliers- 100. The Nuggets are now 5-3, 2nd in the Northwest! NBA All-Star balloting starts tomorrow, presented by T-Mobile. Make sure you vote for Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Nene, and Marcus Camby, because I know I am. For your other player choice, choose a Denver Nugget, because I know I am. Melo and A.I. made it last year, they will make it again this year (with their teammates). GO NUGS!

Finally, that long 4-game road trip is over. After hard losses to the Knicks and Celtics, we slaughtered the Wizards and rallied against the Pacers. We held Agent Zero under 19 points and beat them by 20+ points. Letting the Pacers score 46 in the first quarter (team record) was unacceptable. But after 3 double-doubles (Melo, A.I., Camby) and 21 points from L.K. it was and still is fun to be a Nuggets fan. I feel sorry for Pacers fans having been up by 25 at one point and to lose by 7 but... I don't care! Sorry, but I am the Denver Nuggets #1 fan! Anyway, we got Fool James and the Cavs up next. I might go! That will be a must-win if we want to keep pace with the Utah Jazz in the Northwest. 4-3. Tonight was fun and go Memphis Grizzlies! Go Nugs! Anyway, I am excited about the new M4's coming out. The H.O.O.D. Movement will be a cool theme for Melo shoe #4. I got the first and third shoes. Melo! My South Jeffco Lightning team finished our third practice yesterday. I am feeling good about this year!

The Nuggets played a good game against New Orleans. We lost because the Hornets made too many 3-pointers. A.I. had 24 points and 1 steal. We still have 1st place in the Northwest division. I sat lower level and it was so cool! I love that the Nuggets are using their alternate logo in the middle. I also caught a white basketball that said Denver Nuggets and Kaiser Permanente on it!! I also had some dippin dots. The Nuggets are still 2-1 and we will win a championship!!!! GO NUGS!

This is the year for the Denver Nuggets. I agree with Carmelo's prediction of 60 wins. We will be the best Nuggets team ever and along with the best regular season will come a championship! The 14ers will win the D-League championship after making it to the Finals last year. The 14ers have Eddie Gill! The Nuggets have Chucky Atkins and K-Mart is back! Let's Go!!!
