One day after disgruntled Jason Taylor moved to the NFC East, disgruntled Jeremy Shockey moved out. Shockey was traded to the New Orleans Saints for a second and fifth round pick in the 2009 NFL draft. This clearly shifts the Saints from pretedners, to contenders with a key aqcuisitioin. They have depth, strenghts, and experience which goes hand in hand with their rising young talent. This trade was favored for both teams. There was no winner or loser in this deal. It makes sense from a logistical and athletic stand point.
