I thought the smartest thing to do was sort of "introduce" myself since I just made this account and you all have no idea who I am!

Well, first of all, Samantha is my real name but please call me Sam :) I'm New York born and raised; not the good part though, Upstate haha I'm from a ridiculously small town and can't wait to move to NYC after school. I am into Advertising and Public Relations. It's my major actually. I'll be 22 in 10 days, so I'm excited about that. I've never felt my age though honestly, I've definitely lived many lives in my [almost] 22 years.

Um... I'm pretty much a tom boy and a girly-girl at the same time. I can tell you who won the game last night and who has the cutest boots for Fall. I guess I was born to be a balance of many things! I was raised by my father and grandfather so sports has always been something I was interested in. I've loved the Yankees since the womb basically. I have pinstripes in my blood. My father loves the Yankees, my grandfather loved the Yankees, and my great grandfather loved them too. It's inherited I tell ya! Some of my fondest memories as a little girl were being sandwiched between my Dad and Papa watching them in the Summer. Don Mattingly was my favorite then and he's still a favorite now. I'd like to think Derek was the perfect captain to fill his shoes. Both of them are such role models for me; just the epitome of class and talent. Those two qualities are rare these days... in both sports and life. They motivate me to try my best and never freakin back down.

Oh and I definitely got this thing just because of Phil Hughes - well him and boredom.
