I honestly believe Ohio state has the better QB(Boeckman) and one of the best running backs (Wells) in the nation. This matchup will take place in week 3 of the college football season. I think USC has the upperhand in this game for several reasons... #1 home game for usc, #2 usc will have played a better team (Virginia) while Ohio state plays Youngstown st and Ohio, #3 usc has 1 week off to prepare for the buckeyes. Ohio state will be playing their third game in three weeks. Since 2002 USC is 35-1 at home under Carroll. Only lose came last year Vs Stanford as an 41 point favorite (24-23). S/'02 Ohio st is 21-6 on the road under Tressel If Ohio st beats both of their first 2 opponents by 20 plus and USC wins a close game Vs Virginia, I can see The oddsmakers favoring Ohio st in this game. Since 2003 Usc has played 17 ranked opponents in the regular season going 16-1. (8-0 at home, 7-1 on the road) Ohio st has played 22 ranked opponents going 17-5. (10-2 at home, 7-3 on the road.)
My line is Ohio state-1
