Players report to training camp tomorrow and will begin practice on Saturday. Let's face it, Miami will need a lot of motivating and belief instilled in them because their talent level is not up to par with most of the NFL. With that being said, here are the top three people I would hire, if I were in charge, to give the players the first motivational speech of the 2008 campaign.

Keep your hands off of Hanley Ramirez. Multiple sources are reporting that Hanley Ramirez will sign a six year deal, believed to be worth $70 million, with the Florida Marlins. It would be the Marlins biggest financial commitment ever. He is the face of the franchise and most definitely worthy. He won the NL Rookie of the Year in 2006 and last year put up MVP-like numbers (which were better than Jose Reyes and Jimmy Rollins, thanks for asking). Also factor in that his numbers could be even better if he didn't play in a pitchers park. No matter, Hanley is a beast that anchors an underrated lineup in Miami.

It has been reported that the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys have made a trade. Miami has sent their 4th round pick (#100 overall), to Dallas for LB Akin Ayodele and TE Anthony Fasano. When I first heard this, I was perplexed and didn't believe the report. It seems like the Cowboys were giving them away for practically nothing. From the Dolphins perspective, it's a great trade.

The Miami Dolphins agreed to terms with Jake Long and he will be the number one pick in the draft. How does Miami's offensive line shape up now?

The NFL Schedules were released today. The Miami Dolphins schedule is weird. Four of the last five are on the road. Six of the middle eight are at home. We open and close with the Jets. Take a look. There are also a few draft tidbits

There is a poll on the PhinPhanatic website on who the Dolphins should draft with the number one pick in the NFL Draft. Should they take a great player at their biggest need (LT, Jake Long)? What about drafting the best defensive player to make their improving defense even better (DE, Chris Long)?
