ESPN Agrees with wamitchell29!!

Here is an excerp from an article on espn.com. This is in regard to responses to thier article about the best WR of all-time, that has been getting complaints from readers that wonder why bums like Art Monk and T. Brown aren't higher. Here is the comment, "Moss' performance last season arguably validated his greatest seasons while making it easier to rationalize what happened in Oakland.

Most panelists considered Moss the most talented receiver in league history. Moss is also among the most productive. Rice and Moss are the only players on the list who can claim at least seven seasons with 1,200 yards receiving and four with at least 15 touchdowns.

Even in 2005, Moss' first season with Oakland, he finished with more receiving yards (1,005) than Deion Branch, Hines Ward, T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Donte' Stallworth."

So all you Moss haters can again find a tall building and jump. Land on a philly cheesesteak stand. Only thing that is wrong with this article is that they don't have Moss at one. They will at the conclusion of his career, bank on that!

Running Backs are overated in points per catch leagues

It has been two fantasy football seasons since I started my drafting strategy experiment. Since then, I have won two Championships. I stand by this new method, which will work, guarenteed! Now this method only works in Points Per Catch leagues. Do not apply this strategy in leagues that do not offer it. The traditional method of drafting is to get running backs, running backs, and more running backs. Well, I have had it with that because every other back I choose either sucks or is very pedestrian. Meanwhile you pass on the opportunity to get the leagues best WRs and QBs just so you can follow this stupid RB rule.

Two football seasons ago, I decided to shake things up a bit. First I chose Peyton Manning. Now I know you all will say, "a lot of people have", but keep listening. It was the 4th pick and I dont think many people take him that high. After that I chose Randy Moss and after that I chose Reggie Wayne. It wasn't until round 4 that I took a running back, which was Willie Parker. Wayne ended up one of the best point getters, Randy took a dump that year (last year in Oakland), Manning was Manning, and Parker rushed for over 1300 yds and had 13TDS. The moral of the story is that there will be some running backs in the mid rounds. Look at Ryan Grant last year, he was a free agent pick up for most owners. When I chose the first three players, owners in my league slammed me. I was ridiculed. I ended up winning the title.

I made the playoffs as a 6th seed but blew everyone out with my three studs (Manning, Wayne, Parker). There is another precaution I must give you, you MUST be a good Fantasy manager, making the right free agent pick ups, and don't trade away all your picks. I did that one year and ended up on the bottom.

This past season only made me emboldened on my stance. I figured well I will try to get at least one RB before I get my stud QB and WR. Big mistake. I chose Alexander at 4, Moss, then Brady. I had the foresight to Pick Moss and Brady because one, I am the biggest Moss fan in the midwest and two, I know that giving Brady Moss is like giving Iran a nuke, they will drop bombs. Again I was ridiculed, but I dominated. I ended up picking up Ernest Graham in free agency and made many free agency moves throughout the year. Point of fact, I didnt win the title with that team, but placed third, but only because of that miserable day in New England VS the JETS.

I had three teams this past season, and I did win one title.

I had the first pick and having that luxury you can't pass the elite RBs. I chose LT, duh. After that I chose guess who, Moss, then Wayne. It was those three that carried me all year.

Now my strategy this year will be Moss, Manning ( or Romo), and the next best WR ( Edwards, Wayne, Owens, etc.). I spent too many seasons worrying about my running backs only to find out that many good running backs can be picked up in later rounds or in free agency! I use my RBs as support to TOP NOTCH WRs and QBs. Again remember, this only applies to Points per catch leagues!

Now I know there are many owners who will scoff at this plan. But remember this, while you bums are taking second rate RB's I will be taking the leagues best QBs and WRs. So when it's your turn to look for a great WR and QB, they will be all gone.

ESPN "STINKS"

Now, I'm no Brett Favre fan by any stretch of the imagination, even though I live in Milwaukee. But I at least have respect for the man's game. I keep listening to these knobs like Mark Schlerith, Mike Golic and all these other tools who love to shoot there mouth off with their biased opinions. He has to put Elway before Favre because he played with him. He keeps pointing out the facts of the interceptions and his downsides. Elway didn't have any interceptions? When he had little help like Favre he lost his Super Bowls. It wasn't until he had TD, that he won he Bowls. I think that Favres accomplishments have to put him in the top 3, at least for the time being. I think that Joe Montana is the best ever, again, for now, for his heroics in the Bowls plus his numbers.

As far as Mark "Stink" goes I think he is a bum with a microphone. I never heard of the bum till I seen his ugly mug on TV. Him and his pompous opinions make me wanna puke! I actually like Mike Golic and Greeny but he said some assanine things regarding Favre, too. He kept bringing up Qb's from way back, when the workout before the games was running in a circle for a few minutes. He put them ahead of Favre now that is just ridiculous. Guys like Otto Graham? Are you Kidding me? The ol' saying is "opinions are like a#$holes, everybody has one". I guess if you put Otto Graham in the mix it's your opinion, but I think the overall factor with me is numbers and championships. Favre has a ring and his numbers are better than all the rest. So I have him at 2 behand Joe!

This isn't the first time I had a problem with that bum with a mic. He has slammed my boy Randy many times and like the rest of the fickle media, when he did great, he was all on his n&*sack!

Others I hate....Jime Rome, Skip Bayless, Tom Jackson, Mark Schlerith, and many others I just can't name them all. But Jim Rome and his nerdy nation all suck! What do you all think?

Forget the Running backs, Get the QBs and WRs!

Randy makes a great decision!

Randy Moss's decision to turn down more money and relocate to Philadelphia, was an excellent move. The money wasn't much more of a difference, at least not to Randy. He has money. What he does'nt have is a ring. Has the city of Philadelphia ever won a major league championship in the last 20 years? Do you really think Donovan can win one? The last time he was there, he had T.O. and he couldn't hold his lunch down. Lets weigh what must have been Randy's options.....

QB Tom Brady or QB Donovan Mcnabb? I think you all know who won that. Offensive line....NE or PHI? Which QB is always on the IR? I'll give the advantage to Philly's D over NE, I do think however, that New England knows how to work with nothing. Philly's Westbrook is an awesome RB with mad skills, but that is not enough to make Randy leave. Lets look at organizations. Hmmmmmmm....New England has three recent rings! Oh yeah, Philly NEVER won a Super Bowl! NE has some of the most loyal and dedicated fans while Philly is a place where the fans would kill you just as look at you if you got on their bad side! Wasn't that the city where poor Santa got assaulted by the Philly barbarians?

I get the mood in Philly is about what I expected, bitter and obnoxious towards Randy. Randy I am a huge fan of yours and believe me you saved yourself some heartache and a lot of personal insults. Do your thang Dawg get that ring, trust me, you wouldn't get one in Philly!
