Now the Malice at the Palace might have been just a normal fight.....except for the fact that it got way too out of hand. Cheryl Ford who was breaking up the fight sprained her knee and had to be taken off the court in a wheelchair and Lisa Leslie got pushed to the ground by Rick Mahorn. I can't decide in what I'm disappointed in the most......Candace Parker tackling Plenette Piersen because they got tangled up, the peacemaker Ford getting hurt, or the fact that Rick Mahorn, Detroit's assistant coach who is not exactly a small man, pulled Lisa Leslie out of the group and pushed her to the ground. Sad to say that all of it is. Candace Parker might play like an experienced veteran, but hasn't matured enough to handle being a professional yet. Dont get me wrong, I'm a big Candace Parker fan, but that.....that was just stupid. I still think she is one of the most respectable rookies to ever enter the game, but she ended getting another player hurt and Lisa Leslie embarassed. Oh, not to mention that is was the LAST FIVE SECONDS of the game. Hopefully this was an eye opener for her because look what happens when you lose your bearings for less than a minute. I smell suspensions.......

I never would have thought that the WNBA would play the first outside game in WNBA or NBA history. Not really a milestone, but it is pretty cool about how they're going about prepping the court. Both teams have had some open outdoor practices to get used to the change. Even if you're not a fan of the WNBA, this would be the one game that would be worth watching.

Hmmm, a guy that likes the wnba and is willing to admit it? I think I might be a new Bob Ryan fan. haha. Oh, and just skip the whole thing about Rajon Rondo.

LeBron James. and when I look for my favorite players I dont look for skill or reputation. I definetly look for that flair. I love finding those player that makes the game have a different style tempo. Those playmakers and leaders that step up to carry the team when they need it the most. My life aspirations.....hmm. going to a duke vs. unc game, find my purpose in life, go to a phx mercury game, and of course meet the most amazing womens basketball player ever. Diana Taurasi.
