Team USA.... they got beat today, but, Janel McCarville!!! Thats all I can say!! If she dont get a ticket to Bejing Im going to flip out lol! She is a beast! She is playing with the best players in the world and shining!!! Almost makes me want to become a Liberty fan!!!
So the WNBA Draft took place and the LA Sparks get the #1 pick. Question now is, does Candace Parker leave early?
I hope not! I dont want to see Parker in LA, thats a personal opinion. I mean I think her career could branch off in a thousand directions in LA .... but not the Sparks!!! Just not what I wanted to see.

Parker herself says: ""I'm looking at it one day at a time, I'd rather leave it at that. If you get caught up in the future, your mind gets to wandering."
It's hard to ignore her future after another successful stint with USA Basketball last month and with the Olympics looming next year. And then there's the impending nuptials as well.
And if you ask Pat Summit: "All indications with where she (Parker) is, the timing of everything, there's obviously a good chance we'll see one more year from Candace."
This draft we will see ... maybe Parker.....(not the Sparks baby), but for sure Fowles, Wiggins, Humphrey, Langhorne, Ajavon... and I could keep going.
I think this season other players can step up and steal the spotlight and move up in the draft, so I am anxiously awaiting the season to start! GO UCONN! :p
