Tamika Catchings says she feels good enough to keep playing for WNBA titles.
Eight days after ending the most remarkable run of her sterling career, winning Olympic gold and her first WNBA crown in the same year, Catchings told reporters on a conference call Monday that she's not even pondering retirement.
The Finals MVP is 33. She says she will keep playing as long as her body will tolerate it, and that right now she's only feeling the typical aches from a long season. Catchings says winning her first WNBA title has alleviated some of the usual pain, too.
Catchings isn't taking much of a break, though. She plans to fly to China next week where she is expected to play with the Guangdong Dolphins until February.
