The Seattle Storm of the WNBA this week signed Tina Thompson a 15-year WNBA veteran who averaged a career-low 9.9 points last season for Los Angeles.
Thompson is the WNBA's all-time leader in points scored (6,751) and won four WNBA championships with the defunct Houston Comets.

Already loaded, the Seattle Storm added another All-Star to the lineup by signing forward Tina Thompson, the WNBA's all-time leading scorer. Seattle announced Thompson's signing on Monday. She spent the last three seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks and finished the 2011 season with 6,751 points, ahead of Katie Smith (6,015) and Lauren Jackson (5,915).
