The Seattle Storm are making more moves. The Storm have traded Ashley Robinson to the Washington Mystics for Victoria Dunlap. Robinson spent to last five seasons with the Storm, winning a championship in 2010. Dunlap was drafted 11th overall last spring by the Mystics.
Washington Mystics:
“We welcome Ashley to the Mystics. She is a veteran center with championship experience,” stated Lacey. “Her size, athleticism and shot blocking ability gives us a new dimension at that position. Ashley brings depth to our team which is important as we continue to add pieces for a playoff run this upcoming season.”
Seattle Storm:
“We had Victoria on our close radar last year going into the draft,” said Agler. “We like her versatility offensively. Athletically, she’s as good as there is in the league. We had the opportunity to bring her on our team and we took advantage of it.
