Just over two months after he suffered a massive heart attack on the air, Jerry Lawler returned to WWE Monday Night Raw. It was pretty cool to see him doing so well, especially after all the reports about his condition when he first suffered the attack.
I have to admit, I thought this was part of a storyline when it first happened. I really don’t put anything past the WWE in terms of tasteful entertainment. That being said, it was real. But, now that Lawler is essentially healthy, it has become part of a storyline, as we can see in the video.
CM Punk has done a fantastic job at getting fans to hate him. At first, there were fears that he would struggle to get fans to hate him, because he was kind of like the new-era version of Steve Austin in terms of an antihero. But he does a fantastic job of acting like a prick.
But good to see “The King” back and healthy, even if his heart attack is being used as way to further someone else’s career.
