WWE looking at networks for NXT?:
According to Jim Ross WWE are looking to air the NXT developmental show on a national network alongside other WWE programming. Currently the show only airs internationally and locally in Florida.
The original rationale was that the show should only be localized because it’s a testing ground for future stars and does not represent the wider product. For whatever reason the company have changed their minds.
Effectively this would redefine what it means to be in developmental. A lower card star that wrestles on Superstars for example would be getting just as much exposure as the rookies.
