Sam Houston State beat Montana State 49-13 today. Since the college bowls don't start until December 17th we have to rely on the FCS playoffs to tide us over. Although it would've been nicer to see a little closer game we did get one awesome catch from Montana State player Elvis Akpla which you can watch below. Sam Houston State will go on to the semifinals to face off against Montana next weekend.

Chris Jones scored 14 points, including the go-ahead basket with 1:06 remaining, as North Texas defeated Sam Houston State 53-50 on Saturday.

Sam Houston State runs past Montana State
HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) -- Richard Sincere rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries as Sam Houston State piled up 428 rushing yards on Saturday in beating Montana State 49-13 in a Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinal game.
The top-seeded Bearkats (13-0) will host Montana in the semifinals either next Friday or Saturday.
