- The Pope agreed that he was underused on Twitter, after being sent an article on the subject. He wrote:
“Thanks again, but SERIOUSLY, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Pope is underused…… Or does it??”
His status with the company is not clear. His feud with Devon and Devon’s sons seems to have stoppe dead in its tracks.
- TNA recently trademarked the term “Soccer Moms”, as a reality show title. This will likely be something within TNA rather than a completely separate project.
- Although Drew McIntyre appears to be getting buried each week on Smackdown, there are currently no plans on releasing him. So we can only hope that this is the slow build to a new gimmick. The company is said to want to repackage him as an arrogant playboy type at some point.
- CM Punk did a good deed at at Sunday night’s Raw house show from Wichita, Kansas. When he threw his shirt to fans prior to his match with Dolph Ziggler, an adult man jumped in front of a kid and took it back to his own seat. Punk angered by this, jumped the guard rail, walked to the merchandise stand and got the kid a new shirt personally.
