According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was a lot of talk backstage at last night’s SmackDown tapings that the Jerry Lawler vs. CM Punk angle is a precursor to WWE inducting the late Andy Kaufman into their Hall of Fame next year.
While it’s not confirmed, Kaufman currently is the front-runner to be the 2013 celebrity inductee.
