Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter – Former WWE star Rob Conway placed second in the Kentucky Bodybuilding Championships on November 5th. Conway qualified for the NPC Nationals competition in Miami on November 19th. – Finlay will return to Japan for Tajiri’s Smash promotion on November 24th, facing Smash Champion Starbuck. – Independent wrestler Gregory Iron, who is a friend of CM Punk’s and has Cerebral Palsy, has been pushing to get a spot in WWE’s 2012 Royal Rumble but at last word, WWE has not even responded to him. – As noted earlier, former WWE announcer Todd Grisham is now the new host of ESPN’s MMA Live. It’s interesting that Grisham and fellow former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman were the two finalists for the job when former host Jon Anik left ESPN for UFC. Coachman is scheduled to host the show if Grisham isn’t available.
