Davey Richards Tells Indy Crowd That He’s “Headed to Connecticut” to Prove He’s the “Real Best in the World”
At Friday night’s St. Louis Anarchy wrestling event, former ROH World Champion Davey Richards told the crowd that he was “headed to Connecticut” to prove he is the “real Best in the World.”
He stated that he had done all there was to do in the indies after his match with ACH, whom he defeated by submission.

Davey Richards says he plans to retire by the end of next year. Richards told Inside Wrestling Magazine, “When my contract is up, I’ll be gone…something would have to go drastically wrong” for him to still be in the business when 2014 came around.
