Spirit Squad. Sports Illustrated Features UCF Spirit Program
UCF fans should head to newsstands starting Jan. 30 as the Knights' spirit program will be featured in a full-page ad in the latest edition of Sports Illustrated. The Black and Gold is highlighted thanks to their community outreach they provide every year, which totals at least 120 appearances throughout central Florida.

– Mike Mondo, formerly of the Spirit Squad, worked the show as well.
– Former WCW star Crowbar and former New Japan star Ricky Reyes both worked the tapings. Crowbar owns a physical therapy business with several locations in New Jersey...

Spirit Squad. Iowa Spirit Squads Qualify for Nationals
The University of Iowa dance team, Iowa cheerleaders and Herky the Hawk will be competing at College Nationals in January 2012. Nationals takes place at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 13-15.

Spirit Squad. 2012-13 Cheerleading Clinic Set for Feb. 25
The 2012-13 Indiana Cheerleading Clinic will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Gladstein Fieldhouse, with registration beginning at 10 a.m. ET. This year's clinic has a cost of $35, which can be paid on the day of the clinic.
