Timberwolves create NBA history against Nuggets in game 7

The Denver Nuggets to everyone’s shock are out of the NBA playoffs, after a poor loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in game 7. On the other hand, the Timberwolves side created NBA history against the Nuggets.

The Timberwolves entered the half down 15 points. Just more than thirty seconds into the third quarter, Nuggets’ Jamal Murray made a three-pointer to increase the lead to 20 points. Minnesota didn’t realize it at the time, but Murray’s shot allowed them to set an NBA record by staging the largest comeback in Game 7 history, eventually winning 98-90.

The Timberwolves’ star players, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels , and Karl Anthony-Towns were crucial in attack for them in game 7. Edwards dropped 16 points whereas McDaniels and Towns both dropped 23 points each in their historic comeback win against the Nuggets.

In addition, the Timberwolves smashed a record set just weeks ago, when the Cleveland Cavaliers rallied from an 18-point deficit to defeat the Orlando Magic 106-94 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs first round. Ultimately, the record lasted only 14 days.
