Anthony Joshua has insisted that he never slept with Amir Khan’s wife… even though he wishes that he did.

Joshua was, for a long time, one of the most squeaky clean fighters in the business. His PR team ensured that he was never dragged into any sort of nonsense only and merely focused on maximising his marketability.

However, in recent weeks, the Briton appears to have removed the handbrake. AJ has seized control of his Twitter account and has begun responding to allegations that would previously have gone unanswered.

One of those relates to boxing counterpart Amir Khan, who previously accused Joshua of having an affair with his wife Faryal Makhdoom after the pair briefly split up a few years ago.

Joshua has now, once and for all, put the rumours to bed, insisting that he never did sleep with Makhdoom… but he wishes that he did, considering he got all the grief for it anyway!
