JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — At the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on December 23, 2023, Daniel Dubois (Dynamite) and Jarrell Miller (Big Baby) are set to square off in a heavyweight match.

In August, Daniel Dubois(19-2, 18KOs) from England lost to Oleksandr Usyk via ninth-round knockout, his second loss in the professional ring. After being stopped by Dubois in the fifth round, Usyk bounced back to win the heavyweight titles in Poland from the WBA, IBF, and WBO. Following the contentious decision to declare the body shot that eliminated Usyk to have been a low blow, Dubois attempted to have his loss altered to a no-contest; however, the WBA denied his request.

Dubois will now take on the undefeated Miller (26-0-1, 22 KOs) in an attempt to maintain his status in the heavyweight title scene. After a 43-month hiatus due to several drug test failures, Miller a 35-year-old boxer from New York is 3-0 since returning to the ring. Miller was infamously scheduled to fight Anthony Joshua in 2019 before failing the first test, which allowed late substitute Andy Ruiz Jr.

This is a very intriguing matchup because Miller is a huge heavyweight who also carries a strong punch and Dubois views the match as one that he must win. Eddie Hearn, a British sports promoter, believes Miller has a chance to wear Dubois down if his chin holds up during the fight.

“I think it’s a very tough fight. I mean if Jarrell Miller’s got a good chin it’s a very tough fight for Daniel Dubois, because I feel like Jarrell puts a lot of pressure on, he’s got a good engine, I think he’ll try and wear Dubois down but he’s gonna have to come through some heavy artillery on the way," said  Eddie Hearn in media reports.

“I think if Daniel Dubois loses his career might be over. I would’ve liked to see him brought back with a couple of wins, because I think he’s a really good fighter. Against Usyk, he did well. He didn’t win many rounds, but the low blow controversy etcetera. So we’ll see, but I think it’s a very tough fight Dubois and if he loses he’s not in a great position at all,” he added.
