Errol Spence Jr. calls for unification bout with Terence Crawford after beating Yordenis Ugas

Errol Spence Jr. unified the WBA, WBC, and IBF welterweight titles Saturday night with a stoppage victory over Yordenis Ugas and now he wants to add Terence Crawford's WBO belt too.

Spence, 32, improved his professional record to 28-0 when a doctor determined in the tenth round that the right eye of Ugas was too swollen to continue. Spence was ahead on all three judges scorecards -- 88-82, 88-83, 88-82 -- at the time of the stoppage and out-landed Ugas 216 to 96.

"Everybody knows who I want next; I want Terence Crawford next," Spence said after the win, via ESPN. "That's the fight that I want; that's the fight everybody else wants. Terence, I'm coming for that motherf***ing belt."

Crawford, 34, is 38-0 as a pro and has reigned as WBO welterweight champ since 2018. He's also previously won titles at lightweight and light welterweight. Crawford is currently second behind only Canelo Alvarez on ESPN's latest pound-for-pound rankings, while Spence isn't far behind in sixth.

The last undisputed welterweight boxing champion was Zab Judah, who earned the distinction in 2005 but lost his WBC and The Ring titles with a loss to Carlos Baldomir in 2006.
