YouTube sensation Jake Paul earned his most recent boxing victory on Sunday night when he defeated former UFC champion Tyron Woodley at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

Judges scored the bout 77-75, 75-77 and 78-74 in Paul’s favor – handing the 24-year-old his fourth straight win.

Because Paul is originally from Cleveland, his showdown against Woodley was a particularly highly anticipated event. One person who took note of how buzzing Cleveland was? Akron native and Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James.

After the fact, James sent out this message to Paul:

Paul was deeply touched by the unofficial endorsement. So much so, in fact, that he teared up over it.

“I was in those stands 12 years ago screaming ‘LeBron! LeBron! LeBron!’ trying to get him to notice me, so for him to even tweet about this, that’s crazy,” Paul said.

“I’m being really hard on myself, but I accomplished so much in the past four fights, no one’s doing this. I’m trying not to cry, for him to even tweet that, that’s crazy.”

Although video evidence has been circulating online suggesting that the Woodley-Paul bout was rigged, it doesn’t seem to be bothering the youngster any. He knows what’s what, so the opinion of online conspiracy theorists isn’t really getting to him.

After his massive win, Paul got a big reward from his Instagram model girlfriend Julia Rose. Between that, all the money he made and James’ unofficial endorsement – it’s safe to say he’s living the good life right now.

There are several notable potential contenders lined up to fight Paul next, including one in particular who makes a ton of sense, but thus far The Problem Child has yet to tip his hand on who he’ll take on in his quest for 5-0.
