It was a rough night all around for the Bradley family on Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Not only did Timothy Bradley get knocked down twice by Manny Pacquiao in a unanimous decision loss, but his wife also received some criticism.
During the fight, HBO’s broadcast team kept showing Bradley’s wife, Monica, who was in attendance. Early in the fight, Monica was shown on her phone during the bout, which doesn’t reflect great on her.
Then after Timothy was knocked down in the 9th round, HBO flashed to Monica Bradley’s seats and said she had left the arena (watch here). She later returned to her seat.
As if losing to Pacquiao in their third fight wasn’t bad enough for Timothy Bradley, he also had to deal with the perception that his wife isn’t loyal, regardless of how inaccurate that line of thinking may be.
