Tony Bellew has made his prediction for the prospective clash between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.

The pair were due to meet but the bout was eventually scrapped after Benn’s failed drug test.

Eubank Jr moved on to fight Liam Smith and was stopped for the first time in his career before dominating the Liverpudlian in the rematch earlier this month.

But a huge showdown with Benn could be back on the cards and Tony Bellew gave his thoughts.

Speaking on Froch On Fighting Bellew backed Benn for the win. He said:

“Too quick, too explosive. I just think he beats him. I don’t know how it’ll go. I just need to see Conor back first to see what the year’s took out of him, but I still favour Conor. Explosive, powerful, quick…Conor Benn’s one of them, you’re gonna have to put him to sleep. He’s going out on his shield.”

Who do you think will be victorious between Eubank Jr and Benn?
