Women’s boxing continues to go from strength to strength, and recently, we saw Seniesa Estrada outbox rival Yokasta Valle to become the undisputed minimumweight champion. As female boxing evolves with more fighters coming through and three-minute rounds taking place, we wanted to pay homage to three heavy-hitting women boxers to watch out for in the rest of 2024 and beyond.

Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) is not only one of the most decorated and influential female boxers, but she’s also an advocate for women’s rights in the sport, pushing for equal opportunities such as fighting three-minute rounds like their male counterparts. Despite her last KO win dating back to 2021, Serrano’s punches still pack a punch across various weight categories – evident from the expressions on her opponents’ faces post-fight. With her recent deal with PFL, her versatility as a “knockout queen” in the ring and a “submission artist” in the cage is catching attention, making her an intriguing prospect for online betting enthusiasts
Her most impressive KO wins were against Daniela Romina Bermúdez and Edina Kiss. Even at 35 years old, there appears plenty of zip in her punches, and it remains to be seen what is next for the legendary Puerto Rican fighter, but one thing is for sure plenty of power remains.

Savannah Marshall (13-1, 10 KOs) enjoyed an impressive amateur career, winning the gold medal at the 2012 World Championships. Her professional career saw her go 12-0 before losing to a dominant Claressa Shields. She responded, defeating Franchón Crews-Dezurn by majority decision to win the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring female super-middleweight titles.
During her professional career – the “Silent Assassin” has shown her power. She uses her jab effectively before throwing her power shots from a distance. Her most impressive KO wins came against Femke Hermans and Lolita Muzeya.
Sandy Ryan
Looking at the current record of Sandy Ryan (7-1-1, 3 KOs), you may be wondering why she is on our list – but after her clinical win over Terri Harper, we are sure her KO win percentage will be increasing under the tutelage of Emanuel ‘Flick’ Savoy.
Ryan has a great work rate and seemed to be selecting her shots with more thought in her win over Harper. Her power seemed to affect Harper right from the opening bell, with the accuracy of Ryan impressing alongside her evident power. She doesn’t seem to possess that one-punch KO, but she has an impressive output with all punches carrying plenty of zip.
