High Stakes Fights Fill In Isaac Cruz vs Lamont Roach Jr PPV on December 6

When Isaac Cruz vs. Lamont Roach Jr. was announced for December 6 on pay-per-view (PPV), there were concerns that the card would be a tough sell. Those concerns are now out the window, as Wednesday’s announcement by Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) confirmed that their December 6 PPV, at least on paper, will be one of the most anticipated events in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Accompanying Cruz-Roach Jr is a unified middleweight title fight between WBA champion Erislandy Lara (31-3-3, 19 KOs) and WBO & IBF champion Janibek Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12 KOs). While that alone is intriguing, with plenty on the line, including a potential future fight with undisputed super middleweight champion Terence Crawford, WBC super featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster (23-3, 12 KOs) will defend his title against current WBC featherweight champion Stephen Fulton Jr (23-1, 18 KOs). The rest of the card remains intact as Jesus Ramos Jr (23-1, 19 KOs) is set to fight Shane Mosley Jr (22-4, 12 KOs) for the interim WBC junior middleweight title.

While the word “stacked” has been overused and often applied to events that do not deserve such a label, this December 6 card has the potential to be one of the best cards in 2025. It has all the potential on paper to be that, and now all that remains is for the fights to deliver on fight night. With the discussions around PPV and justifying a purchase growing more intense, an event like this makes that issue less significant.

Below are quotes from the fighters who were recently added to the Cruz-Roach undercard on December 6.

Erislandy Lara

“I’ve faced the best throughout my career and this is no different,” said Lara. “Janibek is a strong, skilled opponent, but I’ve never backed down from a challenge. On December 6, I will become unified middleweight champion of the world and take one step closer toward securing my place in the Hall of Fame. Don’t miss this fight!”

Janibek Alimkhanuly

My goal is to unify four belts and make my name a part of history,” said Alimkhanuly. “I’ve been working tirelessly on this path. I’ve been calling out champions for a long time, and Lara agreed. The big fight is on December 6! God willing, I’ll win my third title. History is almost made!”

Stephen Fulton Jr

“I’ll be more than ready on December 6,” said Fulton. “The fans should expect a great fight from me and for me to become a three-division, four-time world champion! I will win and dominate this fight.”

O’Shaquie Foster

“The 130-pound division runs through me,” said Foster. “Respect to Stephen Fulton for stepping up in weight, but he’ll find out real soon that he should have stayed at featherweight. I’ve gone through a lot in this game to become a two-time world champion. I’m ready to take full advantage of this opportunity.”
