Boxing returns to Australia on a Tuesday night as junior middleweight Keith “One-Time” Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs) takes on young, up-and-coming contender Brock Jarvis (22-1, 20 KOs) in the main event on a No Limit Boxing PPV card. US fans will be able to watch the fight on the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) YouTube page.
Thurman hasn’t fought in 37 months, and what will be intriguing is how he looks after all of this time away from the ring. He was scheduled to face Tim Tszyu in March of last year but had to pull out of the fight a week before due to an injury. Now Thurman looks to give it one last go as he hopes to emerge victorious and set up the fight against Tszyu later this year.
Up until March 2023, Jarvis was fighting at junior welterweight after beginning his career in 2015 at junior bantamweight. He fought once last year as a middleweight against Adrian Rodriguez, which resulted in a fourth-round TKO victory and this fight with Thurman. Is an older Thurman still a level too high for Jarvis?
Per DraftKings SportsBook, Keith Thurman is the favorite at -340, and Brock Jarvis is the underdog at +265.
Keith Thurman: TKO/KO +130; Decision +165
Draw: +1600
Brock Jarvis: TKO/KO +600; Decision +600
