The Calgary Stampeders solidified its defense with four recent additions.

The Stampeders re-signed defensive linemen Elliot Graham and Julian Howsare and signed linebacker Adam Konar and defensive back Bentlee Sanders.

Sanders joined the team after he was selected by the D.C. Defenders of the XFL in the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft last summer. Konar played eight seasons with the BC Lions and recently with the Edmonton Elks. He had a career-high 73 tackles in 18 games in 2023. His career stats include 221 tackles, three tackles for loss, 37 special teams tackles, five sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and 10 pass deflections in 101 games.
