Alabama basketball has finished No. 1 in the final AP Top 25. They've moved up after entering last week's poll at No. 4.
The Crimson Tide (29-5) earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament after defeating No. 17 Texas A&M in the SEC tournament championship on Sunday afternoon.
Four SEC teams made the top 25, with Texas A&M, Tennessee and Missouri checking in at No. 17, No. 20 and No. 23, respectively.
Alabama will take on either Texas A&M-CC or Southeast Missouri State in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday. The Auburn Tigers will also be playing in Birmingham, facing of vs the Iowa Hawkeyes.
